Upon checking into this hotel, I have sky-high expectation for both the service and the room. I have passed this hotel several times and really curious on how this well-known hotel doing on their services. I booked a night just to have a good time together with my partner and enjoying our weekend there. Upon arrival, We're greeted with a very warm welcome and they were already offer to brought our belongings, even when it's not really that much stuff. They gave us a very nice welcome drink and the receptionist, Ms. Jesslyn, treated is very well during check-in. Our requests were all fulfilled and really appreciate their attention on the small details. Then when we arrived at the room. We were stunned. It was a neatly oriental-decorated spacious room with tons of cool stuffs, one of the example was the speaker inside our bathroom. Which really gave us an awesome experience on watching movies while indulge in the bath tub. The bed was comfy and the pillows were outstanding. Definitely ranked among our top 5 hotel with the best bed ever! The hotel's facilities are considered complete for the 5-star hotel. It has a very spacious and proper gym court complete with saunas, massage and spa, and also the swimming pool, although the swimming pool is not really that big. They also noticeably fast on our in-room requests. I don't feel any delay as they send our request immediately and they happily gave what we wanted even when it was late in the night. The breakfast also exceptional! They have tons of choices in pastry (I love pastries) and the varieties of cuisines as well. The servers were also very helpful and fulfill all our requested stuffs, even when the restaurant is very packed. Overall, the hotel is really the best choice for whoever wanted to have an awesome experience on staycation in the oriental-themed hotel with nice services! Its the Mandarin Oriental … what else can it be but superior? My favorite stay in Jakarta. Very personalized service, perfect room in both style and function and perfect breakfast. One can't ask more from a hotel.

A very pleasant stay with my family at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta. Right in the heart of Jakarta, with stunning view to Bundaran HI. A walking distance to shopping mall, MRT & Transjakarta station. The room was spacious, luxurious & well-maintained. An excellent service from friendly & helpful staff.

Stayed at room 1309 - the views wasn't the best but the natural lighting was exceptional! Very comfy bed, spacious room, amazing bathroom (they have the WC in a separate room) especially the bath tub, tho the lighting in vanity area can be improved. Breakfast was okay, had to wait for a while because it was full but the server was very quick and helpful. We checked the pool but decided not to swim because it was pretty small. The gym seems to be good tho. Overall a very pleasant stay!
