Simple Minimalist Hotel in Bali

This hotel located very far away from crowd which is difficult to find transport, the bed a bit dusty at the first day we came. For prices around 500k/day in Bali it's worthless. Breakfast was rationed like a night bus group. 🙃

I had a wonderful holiday to stay in this hotel. Great!!

No hot water for shower. The towel is dirty. The room is small (don't trust 35m2 that is written in detail room). No refrigerator.

In the middle of the rice paddies. Good value for money

After moving from hotel to hotel in search of a good night's sleep I was finally able to get just that on my first night at The Salak. few days before I had stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels in seminyak which regardless all the Stars, was a terrible experience. From noisy guests to rude staff. I craved some greenery like bali was in the old days full of rice paddies and cricket sounds in the night. I came across a picture of The Salak which looked to me just the dose of Medicine I needed, I was not disappointed. the hotel is decorated with lovely pastels which males it feel homey, great water pressure in the shower (a rare find in bali), air-conditioning works fabulously in the humidity of bali and mustn't forget to say how friendly and helpful the staff are. it is as in the website right in the middle of the rice paddies, I got my wish come true. Now I must remind you that this is not in the center of the hustle and bustle so if your wanting to be going clubbing every night then it is a bit far. but this is why I chose this lovely hotel, it was so quiet, I had the best sleep I have had in ages (which for me is vital when traveling). They have signs up on the walls reminding guests to be quiet as to not disturb other guests (some guests are atrocious and scream in the corridors and make the most bad noise being absolutely inconsiderate when on holiday), I love the fact that when I entered the room there wasn't even one hint of disgusting cigarette smoke residue lingering in the room as so many hotels have. I will make this my new favorite hotel to stay whenever I'm in bali (which is very often). There is a mini market about 100m up the alley, a laundry just next to that, a salon on the opposite side of the street so you can do so many things within a 2mins walk away. oh gosh this looks like a semi novel I've written here. I hope this review helps other travelers in making the right decision.

Service is okay, but breakfast is not included. The mini cafe for snacks is also rarely open because it coincides with tourists by bus. Comfortable rooms, not dirty, view of the futsal field ✅.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, private, just fine.

The pool doesn't run, breakfast is late (even though I already paid).

Rooms are spacious but the building is old. The door is porous, the window has a broken handle. room smelly and dirty. the location is behind the indomart, because I came late at night so it was hard to find the hotel, but had to turn around many times and call the receptionist. the hotel is quiet and dark.
