Second time staying at Hotel Soloha and really enjoy the stay! Room is clean, love the fact that the TV can be extended out. Located in the hip and quiet part of Chinatown. Would love to go back there!

Room was a bit small compared to the images provided. Service was not it and a few things in room was not working such as the room dial phone, wanted to dial on phone using the room phone to check on plates but instead I have to go down from my room to the reception to ask and loan a plate as my room did not have any. Receptionist wasn't friendly and proceeded to say no, stating that they don't lend plates nor loan it out even though I see there 's plates being placed nearby the counter. Kettle was also old and rusty, you can see a black layer of burnt remains sticked to the bottom of the kettle once you open the lid. 5/10 stay I would say, but bed is comfortable for sure and there 's Netflix too (have to sign in using your own acc duh).

The room is comfortable and the lady who checked me in are very friendly. She has even given me a room upgrade from windowless to one with window. There 's even a fridge on the lobby level that have all kind of non-alcoholic drinks for in-house guests to take on our own. However, there was some defects in the room: 1) the shampoo was unable to pump, so I have to unscrew the pump to pour manually. 2) one of the cup in the room has a HUGE chip. 3) there 's only 1 teaspoon in the room, but all other amenities comes in pair. It is also unfortunate that the restaurant was closed, was thinking of dining in the restaurant again.

The hotel was great. Aesthetics were great. But service was not. First of all, the 2 days promotion shown in the pictures. The staff did not know about it. Had to check on it which seems ridiculous as the promotion was on the counter as well as on the their TVs. The free wine was not available or they haven't ordered it. Had to ask for it several times before they gave it to us. Secondly, the house keeping forget to turn down the room on the second day. And when I called the reception about it. She just said we forgot about it. Had to wait 20 mins downstairs after a long day for them to turn it down afterwards. Service is outright bad. Won't be staying there again.

I booked for a family loft, with 2 double beds as shown in the photo. One on top, one at the bottom level of the loft. However, on the day, we were given a loft with only one bed at the top level. It caused severe inconvenience to my other guest who can't climb the stairs. When asked, the front desk staff told me that all the rooms were already fully booked. We were told to be given a call in case another room was available, but no calls were made to us. No compensation like complimentary drinks or late check-out whatsoever was initiated by the hotel. My guest and I have to compromise heavily by making myself sleep on the floor of the 1st level loft as a result.

The room is a bit small and limited place moving. If you are quite big size, maybe can see other hotels nearby. The food around hotels had many choices, recommend for drinkers just along the streets.
