Tangerang

Tangerang region is located in the eastern part of Banten Province and lies on the northern side of Java Island, Indonesia. Tangerang is traversed by the Cisadane River, one of the largest rivers on the western side of Java, which is integral to the identity of the Tangerang region. The native ethnic group inhabiting the Tangerang area is the Sundanese. However, Tangerang is a region with diverse ethnicities, including Javanese, Betawi, Lampung, Batak, Minangkabau, Chinese, and Cirebonese.
