Honestly, it is neither awesome nor unsatisfying. The guest room was a bit dingy. The bed cover, bed sheet and pillow covers had too much stains on it to not feel a bit disgusted upon seeing it. The table where they put the coffee and tea making tools was not well cleaned (had ants running around the table). All in all, the guest room was definitely in need of a better maintenance. Hopefully, business will get better soon so that the hotel management can provide better maintenance. On the bright side, the location was definitely strategic; The area offers a lot of choices for foods! If you're taking public transportation to get to the hotel, it is located within walking distance from MRT blok m bca and Blok m bus Terminal (definitely easy to get there!). The room price for one night without breakfast was pretty cheap, considering it 's Jakarta. AC and hot water also worked well (please bring your own toiletries as it is not provided by the hotel). The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Overall, I don't mind coming back again.

Simple hotel with cement wall and floor design, located in the main road, easy to access. Check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. My room was very clean with clean sheets and pillow case. Bathroom was great with hot water running freely also my WiFi also very fast. Breakfast menu was great with simple menu but delicious. They provide with laundry service with very clean result. I have always loved my stay here! The rooms facing the green areas in Fatmawati (still don't know what the place is called, to be honest) are always pleasant and a breath of fresh air amidst Jakarta's overcrowding. The breakfast menu was not only varied but also good! The hotel being situated just a short distance from the MRT station is also a significant advantage!

It's a very good hotel for staycation, near to the city centre and flexible check out time. They offered me late check out for free for 1 hour. I will recommend to stay in this hotel for a short staycation or family gathering.

The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta
Old hotel but well maintained, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast tasty and has many choices. Large swimming pool and garden. The only disadvantage is from the entrance gate to the hotel main entrance too far and has to go through an unpleasant view. Overall, this hotel is a good place to stay.
