Recommended for budget backpacking dan perjalanan bisnis, not recommended untuk family trip/staycation. Lokasinya yang dalam pertokoan tepat pinggir jalan. Boulevard, banyak banget warkop sampe coffee shop sekitarnya, banyak deretan distro sepanjang jalan, ada 2 bank besar di dekatnya, hanya beberapa puluh meter ada office Sriwijaya Air, banyak kuliner murah meriah pinggir jalan, dan cuma 500 meter dari mall panakkukang. Kamar cukup bersih tapi tidak kedap suara, handuk & sabun cair ada tapi sebaiknya bawa alat mandi sendiri. AC kurang dingin (sebagai patokan di suhu 16 derajat kerasanya kayak 21 derajat). TV ada channel tapi gak banyak. Hot shower bekerja tapi airnya baru panas sekitar 5 menit kemudian. Suara di lorong kamar menggema. Lift bekerja. Jangan tinggalkan barang berharga dalam kamar yang ditinggal pergi. Parkir mobil cukup luas di bagian depan hotel, di belakang hotel (menghadap ke dalam komplek Topaz) sulit parkir. Untuk backpacker-an laki sendirian okelah, no worry at all.

Second time staying at Jalan Star. Thank God I got the Bazaar price from Traveloka. It turned out that the room was still as comfortable as it used to be. Clean. And support the go green program. Well, the mineral water in Gallons on each floor is free to take. The main thing, the staff is quite friendly and the location is close to everywhere. Best way to star, hopefully you can join the Bazaar promo or epic sale on Traveloka again.
