Clean room, good breakfast buffet but most importantly friendly staff, especially the GM Maria. Merci!

Full of Bedbugs . Do not stay here

Beachfront room, dining room front beach, excellent VIP room we stayed at, clean in most spots, shower room a little dirty, staff friendly, great bartender- Jake was great. Only thing, my girl slipped and fell at the bar area after she came out of the pool running to get her drink. Her fault for not paying attention-Maria was kind and helpful. Love the breakfast variety, we ate every item on the happy hour menu and drinks was superb! We would like to return since our 18 members of our group liked it better than Boracay beach front hotels. Totally an awesome place to relax and enjoy!!

EVERYTHING WAS BRILLIANT BUT THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE ENTERNET CONNECTION, OTHERWISE THE 12 DAYS ATAYED WERE PERFECT.

Front end staff were very considerate when one of us got sick and had to attend the hospital. They went out of their way to assist us, allowed extended room stay until we had to fly out. Only complaint would be the pool. At times it was very busy with kids! It would be nice if there was a separate section for adults. The property is large enough they could build just a kids pool area. The hotel is a perfect location. About 10 min tuk tuk ride to the busy town. Restaurant wasnt the best but so many options walking distance. Beds were hard, bathroom smelt of sewer but its common for El Nido. Beach was excellant.

Loved the location, 18 min walk to town, walk on the beach is possible all the way to Las Cabanas in the morning, many bars on the beach. Nice pool with great view. Nice restaurant. Staff was nice and helpful, loved the services - scooter rental, shuttle service, airport pick up. Rooms were older (the AC) but overall nice stay and nice employees.

Rooms were very clean . Nice atmosphere !!

I asked for a receipt for my deposit at checkout they did not have it , could not print it . Told me that they would have to look on the CCTV camera to see if I paid it . If I didn’t pay it they wouldn’t have let me stay there . Unacceptable

The room was fine and the service was great. But the WIFI was terrible, couldn’t hardly connect and if we did it was to slow to send or receive anything

Staff are courteous. So lucky to mingle with the owner of the hotel and family and they were so down to earth and helpful.The time they knew when our flight was cancelled, the staff did not hesitate to help us extend our stay. They offer the best room they have with a minimal fee for us not to worry looking for another hotel. What a superb customer service it is!

Wifi was awful - biggest concern with how much we paid

ROOM I had the Casita Deluxe (villa type accomodation). There are only two of these available. Both front the water and I would consider them the best option for the hotel. Coming in second best is the casita rooms, I think there is between 3-5 of these rooms available. Only one fronts onto the water, but the others are still lovely and you can see the water from the front balcony. Double gem is one of the best resorts along corongcorong. There are maybe 2 fancy ones, but a very different price range. There is room for improvement. The room and sheets were clean. Clean towels were given. The safe worked. Aircon and fridges always worked well. LOCATION The location of corong corong is good - many options for convenience stores, laundry, food etc. it has everything. It is only a 10 min trike to the other more northern el nido beach location which is 100-150 peso. I’d prefer to stay on corongcorong as you can swim in the beach and it has beautiful sunsets (unlike el nido beach). SERVICES The service from all of the workers is great. Jong from the bar (with the little ponytail) was so happy and helpful all of the time. We watched him deal with some unpleasant people and he handled it very well. Always made great drinks and had great service. Jovert (I think is his name) helped with our bags, and anything we needed help with. We would be sitting at the pool and he would be rushing by to help guests, all with a smile. BREAKFAST

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Great place

The Doublegem is not a "fancy" hotel but it has everything we wanted: comfotable beds, clean room, frìendly staff, large and beautiful pool, on the beach, lovely sunsets, a restaurant and a bar.

Room is outdated and shower is weak.
