Staycation is my purpose of staying at Hive Hotel. My room is clean overall, but there are some parts that do not appear to be regularly cleaned: like inside the wardrobe cabinet; the table lamp has a thin layer of dust on it; the sofa/bed and bedside tables don't look clean. Comfort level is medium, because the air conditioner is not cool enough, that I had to request for an electric fan; the window is not able to filter out the sounds from outside/streets, and in a bustling 'gimmick' area of QC, it get noisier in the late evenings, therefore I couldn't get a restful sleep. I love the eco concept (they use rainwater for flushing toilets, floorboards are from recycled wood, complimentary purified water in mason jar, inverter air conditioner, etc.), and the semi-retro design of the hotel. The rooms are a lot bigger than other boutique hotels. The location is very close to a lot of restaurants. In fact, it's only a block away from Il Terrazo mall. Breakfast was plated, not buffet, and it's not bad, but not excellent either, and not a lot of choices if you want to order room service. I appreciate they gave me complimentary platter of local fruits plus a glass of calamansi juice, when I inquired about fruits for room service. Overall, hotel is great, but only because I couldn't get a good night's sleep - that alone might not make me want to return for another staycation.

Guests of the hotel will be greeted with bold interiors and a welcoming staff ready to cater to every need. They are also treated to a 24-hour concierge, reception, complimentary WiFi, tour or ticket assistance, and round-trip airport or shuttle service at surcharge. A private lounge and library as well as spa services with outdoor Jacuzzis are also available to guests.
The hotel provides facilities like a convention hall and ballroom, which is an ideal setting for special events and private functions. There is also a business center with meeting rooms. The Sky Garden Restaurant and My Brother’s Mustache Folk Bar are the two dining options available to guests, serving Western and Filipino fare where guests can relax and unwind after a day of socializing.
The hotel's spacious and fully air conditioned rooms are each fitted with WiFi and cable TV, an in-room safe, as well as an en suite toilet and bath with a supply of toiletries in dispensers to eliminate plastic waste.
