Backpacking

I think this place has seen better days. The room we stayed in is so hot even if it was made of wood. I remember waking up several times in those 2 nights because the heat is unbearable. The sheets are smelly like someone already used it before us. I saw that the other room had no guests but one of the staffs slept on it one night and just left the other day without changing the sheets.The restroom is untidy too. The staffs are also always grumpy and would attend to your needs like they hate their job. The owner however is nice. I asked the girl at the reception if I could talk to the owner on our second night because we were planning to extend our stay as our original plan is to stay in el nido for 4 nights but can't book the place online (to get the same rate). The girl just said the owner is already asleep and if we have concerns we can just talk directly to them as they can also "decide" on certain matters. She just said someone already booked it online that's why it's already unavailable and that we just have to leave. I told her i need to talk to the owner because I have concerns but she insisted that we talk to her instead. I got so pissed we decided to look for another place to stay (I'm glad we did). The next day i was able to finally talk to the owner and raised my concern. She right there and then scolded the girl and I can see the glaring eyes of the staff wanting to stab us.

Pros: attentive and quick response, friendly staff and diligent, foods are superb, the place is also an eating local place serving local food, the owner even invited me to their family even for dinner and drinks, walking distance to the waterfront beach Laguna, inexpensive by paying 750p you get breakfast for 2pax. Cons: noisy, old building, water supply is not running smoothly. I can recommended this place to backpacker instead of staying in a dorm you get privacy already.

Though the place was near the beach which is good but the place was dirty. Would not recommend it to anyone. It was not worth the money.
