I booked our volunteer doctors for a surgical outreach and were coming in very late (midnight) due to a delayed flight and must leave at 4:00 a.m. (a couple of hours away) only to find out their rooms are located in the 4th floor, shared bathroom, double deck. It was not indicated that the room I booked was like that. I booked and paid a private room with a private bathroom, of course! I booked 3 rooms all for the team and the receptionist couldn't even find the booking code and was asking my colleagues if they are truly booked. How inefficient that could be?! According to the group, the place was dirty, no telephone, even a common telephone somewhere in the hallway, so if you need anything, you must get down to the reception area. It looked like the receptionist doesn't know a thing! When I called past midnight to talk to the person in charge asking for the nearest hotel wherein I can transfer the guests, he couldn't even come up with decent answers as if they're not familiar with the area. Due to this incident, I might stopped using Traveloka. I was so embarrassed for the doctors. You should also check your listings and ensure that the pictures, information, details, etc. are all correct. I didn't have any issue in the past as I do most of my bookings using your app, but this one was really annoying!

At that time, there was a group of more than 50 people who checked-in. The hotel staff were not able to remind them to behave properly since there were other hotel guests. And there was also problem related to my booking.

Don’t get me wrong, the hostel building itself clearly well-maintained and the rooms were clean with fresh sheets and all. The bathroom was always clean and had (limited) hot water. The location is pretty strategic, near 7/11, local joint foodcourt, and a museum; also smacked right in the middle of two lrt stations. So to put it simply, it was convenient and worth the price. But, what pissed me off was (and still up until now) I couldn't checked in at first because suddenly the hotel was fully booked with 75 people out of nowhere? Like, what kind of nonsense is that. I booked and paid full in advance, 2months prior my arrival even! (just for the record). They offered to transfer me to the another branch, but even after waiting for a quite sometimes (I had to ask for update; not the other way around) the transfer wasn't possible because that branch was fully booked too (and too faraway, for myself; it was in queso city) another guest had to step in and offer his bed for me to stay the night; before I agreed on taking an all-men room (i originally booked for mixed/all-women room). And surprise surprise, there was another guest who had the exact same problem with mine (couldn't check in because it was ~fully booked~) in the end, they did relocate me to the all-women room as promised. So there’s that.

The hostel is clean. There is one downside though, there is no outlet for the upper bed. I have to go down every time I have to check on my phone being charged.

The place was good value for money. I stayed in a dorm room and it was pretty neat and clean. Aircon was working well but the doorknob gets stuck sometimes. The staff were very nice and friendly. However, they only had one room where they do everything: cooking, laundry, storage room; and it was not so clean and so messy. It made me wonder about sanitation concerns. They also don't give you any choices for breakfast (P50/meal), what they prepare is what you get and that’s it. Their bathroom is quite old and is not that properly maintained. They also turn the water off in the evening so if you have to leave very early, you basically can’t do anything where water is needed like shower or brushing your teeth. They don’t have soap dishes in the shower room and there’s nothing where you can hang or place your stuff at all. The location is ok, not so far from the airport and convenient stores or fast foods. But you can hear the motorcycles and other vehicles even in the evening as it is just beside the road.
