Afton Homestay Sikunir

Cleanliness is okay, the staff are now more numerous and friendly. But still from the beginning until now in the room there is no place for clothes (clothes hanger).

Afton Hotel has 4 locations, so when you arrive at the entrance (you will be asked to pay for the ticket), it's better to WA first so the staff will take you to the location according to your order. For me, I only had room B but the view was amazing.

The accessibility is very bad, narrow road, we were lucky we have good driver at that time otherwise I don think I will be able to reach Afton. The room is very basic, it doesn't have hangers/ or place to hang my jacket, pants etc. No mirror and dustbin too. The bedsheet looks very old and has numerous small holes. I don expect much for the price I paid, but at least if they provide basic items like mirror, dustbin and hangers / place to hang would be good enough.

we reserved a room with the best view type, got a room with a view of the hill and cebong lake. there's no doubt about the view, it's really beautiful and serene with the mist. I was just surprised when I wanted to take a shower, the water heater wasn't on, because it was already late afternoon, so I took a shower with very cold water ... while asking the manager. He was quick to come and fix it. The water heater didn't turn on again at night, we complained again and the man came again.. until it was fixed. the next morning it turned off again. because we were tired of always reporting, we finally took a shower with boiled water ... Hopefully the management can upgrade the facilities, not only the water heater but also the others. like mats and towels were not available in the room, but when we asked for them, they were given at night. It's a shame, the place and view are already very good. Hopefully Afton can be even better, if the facilities have been upgraded, we won't hesitate to stay there again when we go to Dieng...

, got a dirty downstairs room, and noisy little kids running from the upstairs room. The TV couldn't be turned on, my kids got bored so they just stayed for a nap and checked out in the morning. Road access is really difficult, it's better to get out of the car than to be scared seeing the extreme road. There are no toiletries, no washing machine, no mineral water even though the information says THERE IS. There are no curtains on the glass doors even though there is construction going on in front, there are workers

The room is quite good, expecting to sit down but instead squatting, the atmosphere is cold, access is quite extreme, it's better to get off if you want to go up the Sikarim slope, and the car has to drive in a zigzag pattern.

Got a room that had a damaged ceiling, jammed door, and slightly worn out bedsheets and mattress. The view is indeed great, no doubt, the staff is also friendly. The heater doesn't work. There are no tissues, hangers. Let alone a closet😅

It's perfect for those who want to enjoy the sunrise on Sikunir Hill because the position is below Sikunir Hill. BTW, the photo is from behind the room and in front of the room. There is CCTV around the homestay so God willing the vehicle is safe. If there is a problem with the vehicle not being able to go up, the staff is ready to pick up and help. There are also motorcycle taxis ready to take you to the Sikunir Hill climbing post. My advice if you want to stay here, bring warm clothes, because the temperature is low, yesterday I had the lowest at 10 ° C in the range of 00.00 - 01.00 WIB. But I also want to give a little advice to Afton, can I ask for help next time to check and service the facilities regularly, sorry yesterday I had a problem with the water heater not working and the wifi suddenly disconnected. I have conveyed it to the staff, and Alhamdulillah the response was fast, but this happened repeatedly, so I felt bad because I had to contact the staff many times. Overall the homestay is highly recommended, with affordable prices and a very beautiful view. Thank you.

the place is above, for cars access is a bit of a struggle, the water heater in the room I stayed in was broken so I had to boil water several times just to clean up and go to the toilet...as for the staff, they were quick to respond, I complained straight away...success, the accommodation is getting busier

I stayed there last year and the service was good. The lady with children was very friendly and responded very quickly. This year I was a bit disappointed staying there, because: 1. The staff is now more numerous but they are still like children. They kind of belittle us as guests. And very slow to respond if you WA, let alone when you call, they never pick up. 2. There should be a trash can in the kitchen. I miss the ladies with children who used to serve me very friendly and quickly 🥺

My suggestion is to pay attention to the bed sheets because when I stayed there they were not very clean.

The place is close to Sikunir. it is quite difficult to eat. tp dicabin prepare food. access to the city center is a bit far, you need a taxi if you don't have a vehicle, it is recommended that you bring your own vehicle if you want to stay here.
