I'd highly recommend this hotel for those who are going to travel around Solo. It is located in the center of the city and very close to pretty much everything nice and worth trying such as culinary, shopping, and sight seeing. Across the hotel, there is a Batik Outlet, Danar Hadi. They sell beautiful Batik clothes ranging from very cheap ones to very expensive ones. The hotel is near to a church as well and also near to Malls. While I was there, it seems every destination is accessible and walkable. The room is huge and very clean! The bathroom is clean, the services were great. For the breakfast, I say it's pretty okay. they make great omelettes, there are cereals, bubur ayam (which sadly I think they didn't cook it as I preferred when I stayed at the time), rice with various side dishes, noodles, bread station, various juices coffee and tea, and putu (javanese traditional snack). I didn't try their in-hotel food but it looks delicious and the price were very cheap for hotel food. I'd give an overall score of 8.5/10 for my stay at Amarelo Hotel. Totally would stay here again!

The hotel location is in strategic location, hotel staff very helpful and nice, check in and out very simple and fast, the room is clean and comfortable.

Need more maintenance. The room has no window and the sunlight has no way come in. Its seem like stay in a box or cave. The air condition is not good function. Hot, and no air can come to room.

The problems during my stay are:- the room ' s door is very difficult to open, and the shower handle is not tight. Already complaint at the first, but at the next stay, still the same.- Little bit noisy.- The table in the room is already tilted, need to make it straight or change the design. Because I work with the table using a laptop, I was afraid the table will not stand. Other than that, everything OK to me. Thanks.

Lokasi sangat strategis, kamar luas tapi sayang nemu banyak kecoa yang masih kecil-kecil dan itu gak cuma sekali dua kali saja. Kadang pas sholat tau-tau kecoa lewat deket sajadah. Sudah disemprot tapi gak berpengaruh. Untuk AC kurang dingin, sudah panggil teknisi tapi solusi dari teknisinya cuma dikasih kunci tambahan supaya AC selalu on meski sedang di luar. Restonya yang di lantai 1 itu enak buat nongkrong, dan makanannya cukup enak dan murah.

Very strategies place. Helpful crew. But really really old fashioned. Low ceiling, dark room. Urgent maintenance on AC, bed, and pillow.
