Nice hotel for solo travellers/backpacker type. Not recommended for family. Strategic location, cross of Tunjungan Plaza Mall, biggest mall at surabaya. Keep improve your cleanliness.

The room door can not reduce the noise from the hall way not to mention there are so many people running around and shouting and taking very loud.

This hotel has a strategic location, right in front of Tunjungan Plaza 1. The location is close to 24-hour eating places, such as McD, KFC, Burger King, etc. The rooms are clean and toiletries is available, unfortunately I found there were German cockroaches roaming around, although a few. Sorry no pictures.

No matter how many stars a hotel is, it should absolutely maintain at least: hygiene + facilities (that they offer) functionality. * first of all, the staffs were great, they were helpful and cooperative in attending to our needs during the stay, and we had no issue with them at all.* second, the hot water and water pressure are working well. However, i'd like to address several things with the management as we booked two rooms, and were overall dissatisfied with our experience during our stay: 1. Please do regular maintenance thoroughly. Ac was leaking big time after 30min when we checked in (the staff helped to fix it, but it shouldn't happen in the first place) 2. Bedsheets + pillowcases = need to be washed cleaner as we got either a stained one or the washed-out coloured one. 3. (at least in one of our rooms) the shower holder + shower need to be replaced or fixed. 4. I found a small roach in the room, please also consider a thorough cleansing of the buildings and rooms. 5. Molds. 6. Breakfast/parking could be improved, but it's not as important as the previous points. The biggest issue we have is with the room and bed sheet hygiene and the facilities the hotel already offered (but not functioning well). Please see attached pictures for reference (the roach was not captured in the picture, I terminated and threw it away asap when I saw it).
