Place dark & "smelly". No toothpaste & tooth brush. Doesn't issue receipt for walking check-in. Room haunted

Hotel is centrally located and near to market. Breakfast has improved from past experience.though it's still not much of a choice. However the WiFi sucks. Rooms are not very clean with small cockroaches running across pillows and bedding. In my 4 days 3 nights stay we killed 2 of them and found more dead ones in the cupboard. The aircon in room 104 was like an oven. Turned on aircon at 8pm the room only cooled down at 4am. Didn't need the blankies at all. Housekeeping has a lot to improve. We didn't get connecting rooms as per request. The rooms has terrible cigarettes smell which remains even though house keeping sprayed air freshener. I think the filter is very dirty too as we keep having nose itch. Had to buy air freshener to hang in room to rid the cigarette smell. Toilet flush doesn't work very well too. After flushing the handle doesn't return to position then you will keeping hearing the water running down the toilet bowl. Very noisy. Arranged for hotel transport to pick us up from Mata Hari. Reminded them many times before leaving hotel but once they change shift the instructions were not passed on. 5 of us waited for more that 40mins there. Luckily they now have van taxis services and we managed to hopped onto one to returned to hotel.

Free breakfast needs to be improved on the menu. Don’t mind paying a little more. Great locality with convenient access to the jetty like free shuttle provided by the hotel.

Family vacation
Spacious & very conveniently just walking distance from the Ferry Terminal; free transport with Hotel staff can be arranged prior arrival for bulky luggages. Worth the price, simple breakfast included. Like the fish porridge & the made-to-order eggs.

Internet connection has no signal. Even though with free wifi provided it was as good as null. Breakfast need to be improved. Room cleanliness need to be improved.
