Being a claustrophobic, I was a little hesitant to book this accommodation. Tab Capsule Hotel exceeded my expectation! Their pod is spacious (I am a 155 cm female). It is lit and clean. I stayed on female room on the first floor and I only have to share bathroom with three other people. It is a 4 minute walking from Gubeng Train Station and 2 minute walking from Plaza Surabaya. Their staffs are really helpful too.

Staffnya sangat ramah, kamar mandi sangat bersih dan bisa request kapsul atas atau bawah. Lokasinya sangat dekat dengan Plaza Surabaya, St. Surabaya gubeng dan pemberhentian warawiri suroboyo bus

Hotel dengan harga yang cukup terjangkau dan juga dekat dengan pusat kota. Jadi cocok untuk buat budget traveller ataupun para turis yang ingin secara langsung explore kota di Surabaya. Diluar dari keunggulan tersebut, ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperbaiki, terutama untuk kamar compact room. Di kamar yang saya pesan, terdapat lantai kayu yang sedikit rusak, TV yang hanya menampilkan satu channel, kamar ini juga tidak dilengkapi dengan sabun dan shampo (padahal sudah ada tempat shampo/sabunnya), dan tong sampah yang bernoda.

The receptionist is not good, not humble, not even smiling. Payment option only via bca bank Transfer, not support any other Bank, EDC, QRIS, nor even cash. No guide on how to use the facilities, for me who's the first time using Capsule Hotel I have a hard time on find a way how to use the facilities inside the room. There is a QR code to scan inside the room for help, but it just redirecting to Whatsapp number, and the number is even expired on WhatsApp, so no use at all. Inside the capsule is not soundproof, when someone above or bellow us doing activities, we can hear it and its disturbing. The TV has no sound, need to connect it to our headphone jack, but that is very uncomfortable because the TV sound has 60% noises, so better just not use it. We need the card to lock up the room, but we also need it to enable electricity, this is very troublesome when we need to go to bathroom, like every time you want to pee or pup or even wash your hand you need to redo this step.

I've trying the basic capsule room. Amazing experience are the bathroom are so clean and satisfing with hot water and shampoo are very accomodated. I can sleep very well in the capsule with so efficient layout of features! I've recommended for people who need best location on surabaya where can be access just with walk by. Cheap, clean, good for backpacker or single stay in basic capsule type room.
