I had a great time staying at this hotel for 4 nights. The room exactly looked like the pictures: not too spacious but comfy and clean. You could find a lot of art pieces on every corner of this hotel. The hotel staff was nice and helpful. Surely will stay again if I visit Bandung next time.

The hotel has a terrible odor, which is in stark contrast to the photographs. The room has very poor lighting, and don't expect it to be clean.

The cabin is dirty, I got non smoking room but the table on the cabin looks like someone 's was smoked right there.

My stay could have been better but the hotel linen looks yellowish, the towels have holes too! Room is quite clean but bathroom floor has very visible stain. Electricity is not switched on even after the keycard is inserted, someone came to help but he just sort of tried it few times and luckily electricity is on. Quite nice place actually, need maintenance work.

The sizes issues I think maybe the main consideration. Furnishing and cleanliness can be improved more. Nice to having short stay on this accommodation for its superb location!

The Silk at Dago has a unique room and a very friendly staff. While do not opt for the breakfast option there was many street hawkers and minimart in front of the hotel for light snack or meal. Sadly age do not lie, while the room was unique some of the furniture already shown damages starts from a worn out couch up to stiff bed. We order an extra bed and surprisingly the extra bed felt better than the actual bed. The additional room with the road view was a nice touch and a good extra space for my family but the art work was rather dirty and under maintain. The bathroom was very sufficient and the water running very well, hot water was available and it helped very much because for the 2 days we stayed there Bandung rain almost every day and the weather was very cold. Sadly there was many small worms/insects in the crevis of the shower that we need spray any time we took a shower. Its a big minus for the shower and I hope they can improve and fix that for future guest. Overall it was a good stay but some improvement is needed, kudos to the staff for help and service.

Bed bugs! Our skin is still suffering even two days after we left! We rented a room that is on the ground, for easy balcony and outdoor access as we are smokers. So we were at first really happy with the cornered room, on the ground floor, that we got. I came for work. I had to give a lecture. So I wanted to stay in a rather nice place to prepare my lecture materials. We arrived in the afternoon. Had some nap and read some books. Parts of our feet were itching. So, before we went out for dinner, we asked the receptionist to change the sheets and bed cover. We thought it wasn't properly dried because of the rainy season, hence the itchiness. Never in my mind we thought it was bed bugs! We slept in early, wanting to read and write early morning the next day. By 2am, we were awake and were itching in most part of our body. We just put on some eucalyptus oil and tried to get back to sleep, as we had to work the next day. At 4am, we were awakened again by more areas of our body getting the itch. I was so pissed I collected the dead bugs in their white cup so that they could see it. My partner made videos of the bugs. We couldn't go back to sleep. I had to finish my work preparation. Eventually they changed our room to the top floor and moved our stuff. There was no bed bugs in that room. Overall, the hotel is OK. But bed bugs made me think that cleanliness on a longer term level is one thing to question about the place.

Spacious and clean room, but dirty towel. Breakfast not fresh, taste fair, a bit pricey to be included in a room package. Overall is okay, just needs to improve the food quality.

I stayed 1 night in this hotel. Had to attend a wedding and the closest hotel to the venue was The Silk. The concept of the hotel itself is nice. The theme mixing traditional, modern and industrial style in a nice way. The room size is good, it's spacious but just the right size. It's not too big but you have room to move around. The mini elevator was not an issue. The staff was nice, particularly the receptionist. However the room needs more maintenance. The room I had was on the 1st floor. The ceiling has mold and one of the head light above the bed wasn't working. The bedroom didn't have good soundproofing. You can hear everything that's happening in the corridor or the other room. The staff cleaning other room, the guests talking, the sound of the elevator opening. This means lack of privacy for while staying there. The bathroom needs deep cleaning. The bathroom walls are using small tiles and they're not regularly clean. Close the bathroom door at all times cause when I woke up in the morning I found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. I don't know if this issue happens in upper floors.

The bedrooms do not have good soundproofing. You can hear everything going on in the corridor or other rooms. Staff cleaning other rooms, guests talking, sound of elevator opening. This means a lack of privacy while staying there. The bathroom needs a deep cleaning. The bathroom walls use small tiles and are not cleaned regularly. Close the bathroom door at all times because when I woke up in the morning I found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom,
