We had a truly wonderful stay at Westin Langkawi Hotel. A totally recommended accommodation when visiting Langkawi! The hotel is reasonably priced. We paid for Garden View room but got upgraded to Partial Ocean View room. It's also kids-friendly. Our toddler loved the kids’ pool and kids’ club so much. Staffs were also warm and friendly. The beach view from the resort is amazing, from morning until the sun was down. Early yoga at the beach is complementary for all guests.

The staffs are friendly. Room is clean and cozy. Breakfast is tummy satisfying with a lot of varieties. My 1 year 7 months old daughter loves the creamy pasta! My husband loves staying there.

I should give credit for this hotel. I stay here for my honeymoon. This is the best hotel ever stay in Langkawi. Check in counter was friendly,they greet me and husband from the entrance. The check in was excellent and so very fast. They had prepared my room and it was really good.The facility was excellent. Breakfast was serve and arrangement was so amazing. Various of food being serve. Me and husband also being given complimentary voucher for massage and rooftop cafe drinks. The room was spacious and clean. I can give 10 star for the room. The rooftop cafe was so exciting. Me and husband can enjoy free drinks and order food and that really enjoy chitchat with fresh air at night with nice songs played. Gym facility also tiptop. Swimming pool also nice. Overall I will recommend this hotel to others. You should stay at goldsands. I can give 10star! I will repeat tonstay at this hotel when go to langkawi. 1) Phone out of service, 2) hair dryer can't be used, 3) not even one Chinese channel, TV channels 8tv malaysia TV network also don't have, but Thailand, Japan, India channels available, requested to have at least one Chinese channel, at last set a Chinese channel just with all the news not even one movie or drama, till I. Checked out although requested again, promised but the technician just ignored. Wasting my time to let them in my room just to set the Chinese channel. 4) The light around the mirror can't work, 2 technician came for two days just to repair the light. Really annoyed with the hotel, what kind of service provided, never checked whether the room is good for guest to have a comfortable stay. Stay 3nights, never stay this hotel again for my next visit.

Easy check in and check out. Only need to pay tourism tax RM6. I stayed at studio suite, one of power outlet broke so can't do work at living room. Food wise, not much. I don't recommend to book a room with free breakfast. Not worth it. Nearby got few places for food, better.

The staff were all friendly and nice. The reception and lobby area was very nice. However there 's a sense of no security when you go up into your room. The hotel is shared with office space, and anyone from the public has access to the corridors.
