Nice budget hotel. very spacious. so close with Loh guan lye hospital. you only need to cross the road. very recommended for those who want to visit LGL hospital. clean and nice service. it has 7/11 next to the hotel and pharmacy.

I spent 3 nights here and the service is very good. The room is clean and spacious yet the towels cleanliness need to be improved. The hotel location is just across the Loh Guan Lye hospital and it is quite near to some small restaurants. Whenever I need to go to Loh Guan Lye hospital, I will stay here again.

The hotel room was clean and spacious, we booked the family type of room with view of the street. Perfect location if you were going to Loh Guan Lye Hospital as it is just across from the Hotel. Island Hospital is within walking distance. Food vendors are also available within close proximity.

Important Note

As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. Please expect that hotel will collect the Tourism Tax from you during check-in at the hotel. The Tourism Tax rate is 10 RM per room per night.

General Check-in Instructions

A tourist tax of MYR 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Upon check-in, hotel Front Desk will collect from guests MYR 2.00 Local Government Fee per room per night (imposed by Penang Government starting from 1st June 2014). This fee is not included in room rates. Hotel converted into Smoke-Free premise from April 2017. Smoking is strictly prohibited in hotel premises (room, lobby, cafe, function room, etc). Alternatively, a designated smoking area will be provided in front of the hotel for smoking guests. You may be required to present valid government-issued identification at check-in, along with credit card/cash to cover the incidentals and deposits. All special requests such as additional car park, early check-in, late check-out, non-smoking room, etc., are strongly subject to availability & cannot be guaranteed. You are encouraged to contact the hotel at least 24 hours before arrival for the special requests. Hotel may charge you an additional fee of MYR 100.00nett for each extra person after reserves room’s maximum occupancy. Extra Bed it's available with charges. Any availability of extra bed or baby crib is subject to availability.

the hotel is okay, clean and comfortable. the room is very big. the AC is cold. for breakfast, if possible, add or at least change the menu so you don't get bored. the location is quite okay, still close to culinary locations & malls. the price is also still affordable

receptionists are friendly and helpful indeed. convenient to go everywhere either on foot for short walks or by easily available grab. Chinese foods just by next door and Indian cuisine across the road. also many eateries,shops, fruit stalls, pharmacies ,hospital etc on its left and right of 10-15 minutes walk.

In 3 visits, this is the second time we have stayed here. The second visit we stayed in another place, bigger but the traffic was clearly audible. here it is faintly audible. spacious and clean rooms. There are places to eat next to and across from the hotel. Loh Guay Le Hospital is right across the street. While Island Hospital is a 9-minute walk away and 4 RM if you take a grab (4 minutes). A pleasant area for walking. Although the main destination is the hospital, staying here feels like a vacation.

Exactly across from LGL. There is Hainanese rice next to it. Awesome. Walk about 500 meters, lots of coffee shops etc. Take a Grab to Gurney Mall, only 7 meters
