Pacific Express Hotel Chinatown

Great location, just a few steps to the chinatown entrance (Petaling) and the room is quite spacious compare to the other nearest hotel. Easy to find great food surround hotel and there is a convenience store just beside of the hotel entrance.

But the air conditioning not too cold. But. There are luggage scales in the lobby can help vstmer whom go to airport direct

The staff was friendly, check in process was quick. Very strategic place, near from Petaling Street, Central Market and many more.

Unfortunately I only had 2 hours in the room, because I had change my plan so I went home early. So I only got the chance to take a shower & rearrange my luggage in the room. But I can tell that the room was clean & nice. Perhaps one day I would go to Kuala Lumpur again & book the room in Pacific Express again. ' Til next time!

The first two nites I was in room without windows. I booked for one more nite in upgraded room with windows. Traveloka gave me discounts using my points, that made my room cheaper than its price. They allowed me to check in earlier since I had meeting at 11 to 1. No need to worry to find meals. Plenty of choices around. Jalan Petaling is only 50ish metre away. Central Market is only 5 minites walk. Love the many Chinese foods around and also local food. Great place to stay!

Firstly, this hotel is popular and strategic so it gets booked up fast. There was no way to get an early check in (we arrived at 11AM on Monday, hotel check in time is 3PM) but the manager allowed us to keep our luggage in the luggage room so we could grab lunch next door. The hotel restaurant only opens for breakfast. I purposely booked a larger room because the two of us needed to be in town for a week. Room was generally clean. It had a good-sized desk where I can work for a few hours, it was placed at a corner so it gave the feeling of a separate work corner. There was a separate small table and chair for my daughter to sit or eat. The WiFi signal was decent, but sometimes I used my phone as a hotspot for a stable connection. There were no toothbrushes and toothpaste provided for guests so bring your own or get it in 7-11 at ground floor. My room had no fridge. The carpet may need to be deep-cleaned soon. The iron and ironing stand are located far from our room, and we are not allowed to bring it into the room. There are no laundry services in the hotel and hotel reception advised me to google the nearest self service laundromat. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to avoid rooms on the first floor as the noise from the road and people might disturb you. The air conditioner outdoor unit is loud too. I treated all these sounds as white noise. Have earplugs ready if you are bothered by sounds. Shower gel was not replenished and not given extra, not enough for 6 nights for 2 pax (no worries we brought our own). In-room TV & radio channels are all local stations. Hot water and water pressure were tip top. Staff in general were polite when I approached them at the counter or called them through the guestroom phone.

Located exactly infront the chinatown, near the free shuttle bus station, its only take 5 mins by foot. Awesome.

The service very excellent. Recommended!

This hotel location is actually is very strategic, however the hotel condition is slightly poor (weird room arrangement such as the makeup table got no mirror), No free parking for hotel guest, the room has no choice for cold temperature (Only Hot water provided).
