This is the perfect accommodation if you're looking for a budget 3-star hotel with friendly staff and a comfortable room! While I was initially concerned due to several negative reviews online, I was satisfied with my 8-day stay at Furama Silom - as long as you have reasonable expectations. Pros: - Great location (within a 10-min walk): many nice cafes, right next to 7-11 for quick bites, bars & clubs, massage centres, 3 BTS stops nearby.- Helpful staff: efficiently processed our requests for extra towels/in-room slippers/unclogging shower drains/late check-out, warm and friendly which made the stay pleasant in general. - Nice rooftop view: has a swimming pool and rooftop bar, great for sunbathing and relaxing with the city view (but can get crowded during the holidays season) - Affordable & larger-than-expected room: wasn't expecting such a big room for a cheap deluxe double which comes with a king-sized bed, spacious shower area and bathtub, sofa and desk (if you need to do work) - it was unfortunate that the balcony is closed for safety reasons. Cons: - Under-maintained building: lobby area has a musky smell on the first day (rectified after giving feedback to staff), dim lighting on the walkway to rooms, aged facilities (e.g. Missing weights and faulty equipment/accessories in the gym) and the room could have better upkeep (e.g. Dusty carpets, clogged shower drains). Hoping that this long review will help others set the right expectations for the hotel before booking it - only choose this if you're on a budget and not too fussy about the old-looking hotel:)

Big room size, comfy bed, great location in front of main street and near local market, affordable price, clean. Con: old furniture, attitude of middle age receptionist woman can be improve.

The hotel has become too old. Towels are torn and discolored. Room is not very clean. Staff is very friendly and cute. The price is high compared to the value received.

Saw quite mixed reviews before I went, however my stay was very pleasant, nothing to complain. Staff are nice, check-in was fuss free. It is true that the furnitures are a little old (e. G. The chairs and sofa) but it was not an issue for me. Aircon and shower heater was working well as it should be, the room was large as well, similar to the pictures. Location is not super central if you are here for a holiday but we managed to find some nice restaurants nearby:) Overall a decent/comfortable stay especially for the price paid!

Actually this hotel is good, the service is also great, but the breakfast menu has never been changed, so for one week my family and I stayed here, every day breakfast with the same menu.

It 's old hotel and settle on the good location. A big room, good ABF, service mind officers. The room look old and should be repair many part but reasonable prices. PS. In the family room it has sexy bathroom that maybe uncomfortable if you come with friends.
