🏔️ Terms &amp; Conditions for Climbing Mount Agung

To ensure safety, comfort, and the best experience when climbing Mount Agung — the highest and most sacred mountain in Bali — please pay attention to the following terms and conditions:

Reservations are made at least one day in advance (H-1) or according to quota availability.

Full payment or a deposit is required to secure the climbing schedule.

Minimum age of participants: 12 years and maximum 60 years.

Must be in good physical and mental condition.

People with heart disease, chronic asthma, or high blood pressure

Participants are required to complete and sign a health and risk statement form before climbing.

Warm jacket, hiking shoes, headlamp/head torch, personal drinking water.

The operator provides: experienced local guides, tracking sticks (if available), and basic first aid.

Do not bring excessive items and do not litter during the trip.

🛐 4. Ethics &amp; Special Prohibitions

Mount Agung is a sacred place for Balinese Hindus. Respect local customs and rules.

Climbing is prohibited during major religious ceremonies (for example, during ceremonies at Besakih Temple).

Avoid wearing revealing or inappropriate clothing.

It is forbidden to bring alcohol, drugs, or carry out actions that damage nature/spiritual sites.

Activities are highly dependent on weather conditions and volcanic activity status.

The operator has the right to cancel or reschedule the climb for the safety of participants.

In an emergency, participants must follow the guide's directions.

Climbing Mount Agung generally starts at midnight to catch the sunrise at the summit.

Length of climb: ±6–8 hours up, depending on the route (Besakih or Pura Pasar Agung).

Please arrive on time according to the information provided by the operator.
