- Kinabalu Park is at a high altitude (approximately 1500 meters), so bring a sweater to stay warm.

- Expect more crowds on weekends and holidays, as it's a popular local getaway.

- The Canopy Walkway is 60 meters above ground and not recommended for those with heart conditions, high blood pressure, fear of heights, or vertigo.

- Outdoor bathtubs at Poring Hot Spring are complimentary, but indoor bathtubs can be rented at your expense.

- Limited indoor bathtubs are available, with rates of MYR 15 per hour for standard and MYR 20 per hour for deluxe, subject to availability.

- Camera and video fees apply for the Canopy Walk: MYR 5 for cameras, and MYR 30 for video cameras/camcorders.

- Depending on the season, you may spot Rafflesia flowers near Poring Hot Springs, with an entrance fee of MYR 30, at your own expense.
