If you thought the Rain Vortex was impressive during the day, just wait until you see the Light and Sound Show at night! As dusk falls, the cascade transforms into a giant canvas for a stunning display of lights and sounds. The harmonious light effects and sounds will mesmerise you, with colours shifting from mystical blue to calming green and then to passionate red, radiating to every corner of the area.

The show happens daily at 8pm and 9pm, with an additional show from Friday to Sunday, on public holidays and the night before public holidays from at 10pm.

Singapore layover Changi Airport not only offers gardens, but it also even has its own swimming pool! While you are waiting for your transit flights, you can enjoy the time by having some relaxing moments at the swimming pool (it even has a jacuzzi, too!). Not only that, you can also buy drinks at the poolside bar.

While it's technically part of the Aerotel Airport Transit Hotel, you can pay to access the pool without forking out the cost of a room. It's SG$27.58 per person for guests 12 years old and above, or SG$11.99 per child, and is open from 10am until 10pm.

Changi Airport Hawker Centre: Best known as the staff canteen, this somewhat hidden hawker centre can be found at Terminal 2, above the carpark on Level 3M. Here, you'll find dishes are similarly priced to other hawker centres in Singapore.
Food Republic Jewel: Higher priced and higher end, this still-affordable food hall is perfect if you're also planning on checking out The Jewel and its famous waterfall. Food is likely going to cost you a few dollars more than the staff canteen, but you'll still find all the Southeast Asian favourites hawker centres are known for.
