Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort

We liked the close access to the beach.

The staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome! It’s our favorite place to stay in Aruba

the air conditioning was running 24 hours a day and was very loud and could not be turned off

We stayed at the Divi Phoenix in room 833 on June 24th-29th. We have been coming to Aruba yearly and decided to try a new resort. I wanted to love this place because the grounds were beautiful but we will never stay here again. First day we were there we had to wait to check in because our flight got in early… understandable however the bathrooms were out of order and when my husband asked to use the bathroom they told him they only had bathrooms for females? Odd. First red flag. When we got to the room it REEKED LIKE MOLD. It was so pungent it was hard to breathe. We asked front desk for another room, they said they would get back to us never did. Next day I went to go to the gym, that was closed until further notice. Bummer. The bathroom showers were beautiful but set up weird so water would shoot everywhere on the floor. The drain covers were loose. The kitchen drawers were hard to open. It seems like the whole place needs a full renovation. Our washer/dryer in unit wasn’t working we called front desk multiple times to look at it. We had one person come once to look and he “reset the code” but still didn’t work. Front desk didn’t do anything for us. At the end of the day we go to Aruba for the beautiful island not to stay in the room so we made the best of it. We felt like the staff had an opportunity to make our stay better but was let down by their lack of follow through. We did love the pools, free palapas with beach set ups. The beach staff and servers were excellent

Wait 2 days in order they clean the apt

The resort was lovely. The property was lovely. There was some construction going on while I was there. It was not lovely. The only real problem I had was I had to leave

Housekeeping service should be everyday. Rooms had funny smell of mold when you walked in every day. Room 631

Having visited Aruba over 50 times, this place is one of the older high rise hotels and it shows it. It is way over priced for what you get. Priced about the same as the Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott this place has almost no activities compared to the others. Located off the strip, you have to drive to most restaurants.They fail to tell you that 1/3 of the rooms are under construction. Our room was already renovated and the floor tiles were buckled. We spent 14 nights and a lot of money to stay there. Just canceled a 15 night return trip for August

Our stay was wonderful and the staff is incredibly friendly and eager to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We really loved our stay at Divi Phoenix 5/30/25-6/3/25. The property was beautiful in an excellent location that was walking distance to many things in town. Our room was comfortable and clean, plenty of room to spread out! We loved our pool bartender Dino, he made our time there so enjoyable. The beach on property offered plenty of chairs and palapas that we enjoyed every day! There are 2 hot tubs that we enjoyed everyday as well. Thank you so much for having us and we will be back!

Enjoyed the stay. Stayed in some of the older units that hadn’t been upgraded yet and they were dated but clean and fine. Some other guests didn’t like the glass in the updated units balconies so maybe it was a good thing. Love the location and quiet end of the resort strip.

everything was perfect until I reviewed my husband’s cc statement showing the charge for the room when everything was already paid for prior to arrival ..front desk requested a cc for any additional charges and to our surprise they charge us for the room we contacted the hotel immediately and according to them they didn’t charge us but their name was on the statement. charge is under investigation. But overall was a great experience

Awesome stay!

Divi Phoenix is my Aruba home away from home. It's family friendly, the staff is friendly and accommodating, it's a short walk to shopping and restaurants and other hotels. Pure Beach's quality of food has improved greatly and is reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back.

Property had everything you would want in a relaxing quiet vacation. Friendly staff, great pool and beach, not overcrowded, close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants but far enough away that it is a little quieter and more spread out.

Going on vacation to this place for last 25 years.

The resort was awesome!

Staff at Divi is amazing. Hotel is in a great location. Wish the renovations were more consistent across the different buildings (e.g., bathrooms need to be remodeled and not all of them were).
