Archibald Hotel

The property was very well located for the functions we had to attend. Having the Hotel below was great and made it easy to get a drink and a feed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very dated and in need of some renovation. Shower fitting was leaking quite badly. Mirror was high and facing the toilet. Chairs were 2 white stools not very comfortable for people in their 70's! Our stay of 3 nights while comfortable for the price paid was very poor value. I've stayed in hotels all around the world and I don't think I would stay there again. Couldn't even replenish milk from day one or replace towels maybe they are trying to save the planet?

It's an old property. You can see marks and cracks on wall. No hot water in the morning when I tried to take a shower. Staff is very friendly though.

Photo of the venue were taken in its hay day. It’s extremely tired, road to the roof is horrendous. Carpets feel yuk under foot, and shower need a good clean, they need to close shower door and look at the mould. TV service dropped at 11pm Would be great to have working lights near mirrors. On the plus side, bed was clean & super comfy

Everything was spotless. Although be mindful of driving up the top to the rooms, the road could do with some repaving.

The staff were friendly and the food in the pub was good. But the room was really old and a bit yucky on the floor near the toilet. Dripping tap in bathroom. No facility to eat in your room at all. Coffee mugs didn't look clean

The check in was a breeze. As for the road access to the parking area was so bad with dangerous very large potholes. The bed was very comfortable. Thank you to the staff.

Great view, No electric blanket, tea bags open and sitting in dirty tray, no sugar just sweeteners. Nice and quiet after hotel closed.

Just an easy stay away from everything

We have stayed here before as family live near by. The hotel is old ,beds are comfortable ,but things like water pressure are very bad . So much so that toilet unable to be flushed for 12 hrs. Lock in door problematic several times and staff had to be called to open it several times . Staff were lovely and genuinely helpful. This is our third stop of always 3-4 nights.

Staff are friendly & accommodating. Bed was comfortable but room was lacking in provisions. As there were no coffee cups, no tea towel or hand towel, no soap or shampoo for shower. Improvisation was key for this stay.

Quite a quaint little motel. A few things could definitely be improved upon but overall it was definitely value for money.

Could do with Better Tea & Coffee Facilities

Cancelled our reservation 2 hours before check in and didn’t offer any assistance with finding other accommodation. And still waiting on our refund

The room servicing let down an otherwise pleasant hotel. The rooms are well away from the possibly noisy hotel public area and have lovely views back towards Sydney. The king size bed was comfortable. Our room had a table, but only one chair; a microwave and cutlery, but no plates or cups, and only one water glass and one wine glass. The toilet roll had to be immediately changed as there were only a few sheets left. The were only 2 teabags in a large and rather dusty box along with a partly used jar of instant coffee. We did arrive an hour early but were quite content to wait, so I can't really explain the lax service. The hotel staff were helpful, but it shouldn't have been necessary.

Food was lovely, staff very friendly.View from room was spectacular. Only downside was one side of electric blanket didnt work and it was gery cold.

Bathroom had a nice ~10" hole in the ceiling. Under the hole hole a collection of dead bugs that had fallen through. The room was otherwise fine, but damp.
