This motel is so convienient to Southern Cross, skybus, trams and dining options. Has a restaurant that we didnt eat at however menu options looked good. Have stayed her before. Love the great staff, cleanliness, quick response to issues. Bag room available if your transport is after checkout. And they do offer late checkout if requied.

1 star for location, we stayed 3 nights in a family room for family of 5. We had no hot water for the duration of the stay. Staff explained that there was a fault with the water heater and they couldn’t call a tradesman to fix it over the weekend. They offered a room change but upon us accepting said there actually wasn’t any other room available and we would have to put up with it and receive a refund/discount on checkout. When we checked out the manager wasn’t available and had left no notice for refund, the staff that were there for the duration of our stay just played dumb and said there was nothing they could do except a $10 drink voucher (which we were entitled to for not having room service as there were no towels to wash)

The staff were amazing, from check in and also when we had any questions about anything they were super helpful. The hotel is quite big, we realised when we got there that there are two sides one modern and the other a little dated. We were staying on the dated side, but it didn’t really matter as we had a view of Spencer Street. The hotel is in a convent spot, easy to get to Marvel Stadium, Spencer Street station and also to just jump on a tram. The room itself was a little dated, had a bit of a musty smell and there were no little things like soap bars or toothbrushes (we accidentally forgot ours). However the beds were super comfortable to sleep in and the room was definitely fine for a couple and their children. The beds were those ones you wheel together so the only thing annoying about the beds is that they wheeled around when you sat on them. Other than that we had the best stay. The breakfast is ok, cooked bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns some healthy options, no specialty milk in the coffee machine other than full cream. I would get the breakfast for one day and then maybe head out for the other days. Staff were super helpful and were very kind and pleasant.

Love that this hotel is just across the road from the train station. For its location it was quiet and the heater/air con in the room made it nice and warm. Good selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate with kettle in the room. It’s true that the room is tiny but I think the location compensates for that. I was in room 104 and liked the view from the window. Loved the mushrooms at buffet breakfast and there was a good variety of food on offer including potatoes, hot tomatoes, spring rolls, scrambled eggs, pastries, fruit and cereals. Breakfast starts at 6:30 I wished it started earlier as I had an early train to catch.

Staff were responsive and helpful, polite. Noise from room above unacceptable- notified staff who responded immediately. Smoke detector flashed bright white light all night- had trouble sleeping.

Great location, but choose a room higher than a standard if you have two people staying. The room that I had was so tiny! I couldn’t open the fridge door properly as the end of the bed was in the way. The room had an ironing board and a luggage rack, but there was no room to open them out! The bathroom was tiny. This is such a stark contrast to other standard rooms that I have had here. Avoid room one one nine.

Walls aren't soundproof and it depends on your room as to whether you hear the trams and traffic or not. Floor was sqeaky and the beds are on rollers, so move when you sit on them. Place was clean and comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Showers are good and toiletries are nice. All up, it's worth the price paid since it's reasonable.

Great location, but service & consistency needs to be addressed. What felt like a dungeon room, turned haywire after we returned from a day out to find our fridge no longer worked and our food spoiled. Then a f you book the restaurant you are left waiting with staff clearly seeing you standing there but not bothering any acknowledgment. The in room menu AND info sheet started the pizzas were available from 10AM to 6AM, but that was not the case, then we were charged $9 to have what we could order delivered to our room. Cocktails were limited in the restaurant as they had no cranberry juice & no Chambord. The housekeeping team should be applauded as they provided exceptional service & even came to check our in room menus (yet I doubt they are ones who created them with wrong times) & quickly changed our fridge over. In general the venue has a great, but they need to sort better access to levels, return to a better restaurant menu (it is now too limited) & improve room access

DISGUSTING! My level 3 was dark and dingy. The room smelt so bad and there was hair in the shower and marks in the toilet from the last guest. Door didn’t feel like it locked well and felt super unsafe. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND!

This is my third stay in this hotel and I'll stay here again. I stayed in the premiere king room on my first visit which is quite large with a fancy bathroom. On my second visit I booked the standard queen room and hated it. It's tiny, the sink doesn't even fit in the bathroom. I was so uncomfortable that I upgraded to the premiere king room within an hour of checking in for the rest of my stay. This time I stayed in the studio apartment which is quite large as well, and has a kitchenette (with the premiere room is missing). It was big enough and quite comfortable so this is where I will book next time. In terms of the surrounds, it is across the road from Southern Cross Station where the Sky Bus also starts/stops. There is a Woolies which is open until late in the complex as well as a couple of cafes for coffee. There is a tram stop 100m down the road which takes you straight down to Elizabeth St (three stops). I found the hotel to be very central to what I wanted to do.
