Grande Florida Beachside Resort

30 metres from beach. Apartment was tastefully decorated. Spotlessly clean. Underground parking. We have stayed here several times. It never fails to meet expectations.

We love every time we stayed , beautiful property love every moment of it

We had a wonderful stay. As advertised, there is direct access to beachfront road, two pools. Reception were really helpful and Nelson helped to make the stay run smoothly. It was a shame that we had to check out and couldn't stay longer.

The room looked clean but on closer inspection there was mould on the curtains and blinds in the bedrooms The stairwell was very dirty floors doors walls all very dirty I got a large screw in my tyre from the underground car park I rang reception who didn’t seem to care.

Value for money

There was no view, bathroom was dirty, dust on air vents, cockroaches came out of dishwasher. Disappointed.

100% recommend Grande Florida. All the staff are amazing, and very accommodating to any requests. The rooms are clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. They have ample plates, cutlery, utensils and cookware, a full size fridge, microwave, jug, toaster, full size oven, washing machine and dryer. The rooms do come with a small amount of basic toiletries and cleaning supplies, however depending on the length of stay you will need to byo. The only negative thing I could say about our entire stay, was the mattresses are very hard, but depending on what firmness you prefer, that might not even be an issue. The pools and landscaped gardens are beautiful, and the free games room is an added bonus for the kids. They also have a vending machine with various drinks and snacks, all at the cheapest prices I’ve ever seen. The reception is well stocked with just about anything you could possibly need last minute, and also makes wonderful coffee. They also offer beach towel, bodyboard and surf board hire. The resort has its own beautiful private walkway that comes out straight across the road from the beach. I will definitely be returning again, and hopefully next time for longer, as our 5 nights was not enough to fully enjoy this beautiful resort and all it and the area have to offer. Thank you to all the Staff at Grande Florida, it was truly a beautiful home away from home.

Great value and location

There seems to be some work happening but not sure if it’s anything more than some painting. Room is in need of some work. Only one little split aircon in the lounge room that is very noisy so on very hot and humid QLD days you might find it uncomfortable to sleep. Couldn’t really sit outside or have the sliding door open as other people smoking out on their balconies. Speaking of the sliding door it needs repairing as it’s very difficult to open and close. Rollers might be broken.

The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and a nice little balcony overlooking the pool areas. Tv in the lounge and main bedroom as well as everything you need to cook in the kitchen area. The 2 pools were a good size and looked like a tropical paradise with all the Palm trees surrounding the area. A very comfortable stay. We will definitely be staying there again next time we are on the Gold coast.

Apartment and amenities very good. 2 big pools great for adults and kids. Staff super friendly excellent with communications before you arrive and helpful throughout stay of your looking for cafes and restaurants nearby. Can’t wait to go back again fantastic location.

Our second time at this resort. The place was under refurbishment and is looking good. The pools are sensational. A very relaxing stay. Only downer was the dogs next door barking early in the morning. We will probably be back next year.

A lot to comment on here, so here goes... When we arrived on Monday evening, the hotel had a power cut, which made the process of checking in and finding out room extremely challenging. Luckily, the hotel manager (Nelson) was very helpful, despite the lateness and the lack of light.

Great unit, perfect location. Really well set out and with lots of useful equipment. We had a lovely stay!

We didn’t use the pool

Myself and my two boys had an unforgettable time here. We stayed in appartment 155. My boys loved the pools and the very short walk to the beach and we loved the peaceful mornings and the sunrises, sunsets. The views from our balcony, I could sit out there all day, watching my boys swimming in the pool: Everything was close by, it was FABULOUS! Thankyou for the warm hospitality, we will definitely be back. YOUR APARTMENT WAS SO NICE AND CLEAN AND IN WORKING ORDER

Resort excellent stayed before. Only comment a spring clean required in common area leading to rooms. External doors could do with a 6 monthly clean etc

Fantastic place to stay, location is perfect, great facilities. And very friendly and helpful reception. Loved it!
