Melton Hotel

The room was very unclean and the nights was so nosey don't let me sleep very well during my stay and something they are bitten me very badly, now for a fewdays my all body is very itching.

The room is satisfactory in terms of cleaning. was but carpet is smelly. Staff are very friendly. Also, I stayed at this hotel many times before. I noticed that the shampoo, conditioner and body soap are totally empty - nobody seems to be refilling the bottles. This has happened on three occasions now. I’ve had to shower with no soap which was terrible.

It is a very basic property with a shared bathroom. Got proximity to Accor Stadium, but if there's an event on the prices are bumped right up. Above a nice pub with good food & drink and open til late.

My recent stay was disappointing. The room had a strong, unpleasant odour upon arrival, which made it uncomfortable to relax. Additionally, the air conditioning was not working properly and seemed to be producing heat instead of cooling. As a result, I was freezing throughout my stay and could not rest comfortably. This experience fell short of expectations.

Clean and tidy

The hotel bar and pokies area are quite good, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for accommodation. The bathrooms are shared, but that wasn’t clearly mentioned during booking. The male bathroom didn’t even have a proper shower tap, which was very inconvenient. The toilets smelled bad and were quite unhygienic, and there were no bins in the ladies’ bathroom. The bed was simply two smaller beds pushed together with 2 mattresses and to make one large bed i had to fix whole night moving bed separating from each other which was uncomfortable to sleep i am having my back pain. The blankets had a strong, unpleasant smell honestly, it was awful. For $100 a night, this is far too expensive for what you get. We stayed for two nights and there was no housekeeping at all.

The light in male toilet was not working. I reported to the staff when I checked in on that day. Due to the late evening, she could only get it fixesd in the morning. Another point is that, unlike the female toilet, the male toilet has the hand wash basin in one of the bathroom, making it very inconvenient to use it when the bathroom is being used.

If I was local I'd support this hotel. Afternoon staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to help patrons. The contract cleaning staff do not clean properly, that's the only down side. We'll be coming back to stay on our next trip.

We were comfortable for 2 days. Reasonable price for this room with shared bathroom facilities. Tidy and clean but a little noisy at times before 11pm so if you want an early sleep maybe take ear plugs but otherwise quite acceptable. Close to shopping centre and ample parking. Great meals on site and well priced.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff is so friendly especially young cleaner we didn't ask her for a name, but she handed us some clean towels and was really nice to our kids.

Pricey for what it is

Staff were friendly, bed was really comfortable. No spoons provided to make tea and coffee. No face washers provided . No water pressure in shower.

Staff were great. Just needed to be a little cleaner. We went the pokies and everyone was smoking in there, haven’t seen that in 20 years in the ACT! The parking is free and lots of spaces. Food and drink at the pub was good.

The place was perfect and has a casino inside while also having a pub inside of the hotel

Bathrooms are very old and need to be updated

Customer service was rude and definitely not helpful. We made a booking,we where refused entry and I have to do a bunch of crap to get my refund
