Quest Cronulla Beach

Great location and very friendly, helpful staff. Noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. Spacious rooms and having a fridge, microwave and hot plate is really handy.

Fantastic location - close to beach, cafes and restaurants. Building feels a little dated, but it was clean and the room comfortable.

The room we were given was directly above the smoking area of the pub. Asked for a different room and our second room had disabled toilet/shower facilities. We were wanting a bath. The room also had quite an unpleasant smell to it. We used the spa and sauna.. my partner accidentally left our room key in the sauna and so we were stuck in the pool area with no way out. There was no phone or button to alert the hotel. Quite alarming and potentially dangerous. We were finally able to wave down another guest in their room to come down and help us to retrieve our key. The drain in the bathroom is too far away from the shower. When showering, there was so much water that wouldn’t not go down the drain. Again, very dangerous. We only had one set of towels and they were soaked from all the water. Not an enjoyable stay.

Unfortunately for the price I paid , over 300 a night we had many issues. Firstly the bathroom and shower especially were dated and my partner and I couldn’t shower without wetting the floor and it was like 4 foot and tiny. Secondly the room was freezing and shared a balcony with a cloth separating rooms. The windows were not double glazed so we had to use aircon and noise from the street came in. We turned on the ac to heat the room but it started to trigger a cold as dry air can do so we turned it off in and it returned to freezing during the night. Considering this is 4 stars I was less than impressed already. The next morning at 830 am someone started vacuuming outside the room. At 11 my partner and I were showering and the room service opened the door and led to an embarrassing situation on our exit as we weren’t aware of her presence , if someone doesn’t answer and they have only checked in the night before they don’t usually clean the room. We found a do not disturb behind the door. The next night the neighbouring room was partying and opening and closing the doors but the poor sound proffering in door and balcony made every closing a bang. They started playing music at 2am and I had to call emergency to tell them to stop. At 10am there was no one st reception to communicate all this. I was disappointing as it’s such a prime location and the receptionist was lovely plus the pool is phenomenal. 1 star

Have stayed here a couple of times and will do again. I found the linen top quality, however the bed/mattress was not very comfortable.

Awesome location

The hotel was nice, a lot of dust and grime in the apartment, both bathroom soap holders were still dirty and unhappy with being double charged on arrival. If proper precautions were taken to ensure things went the right way, we’d be back.

Clean and tidy. Central location but rooms were quiet with little outside noise.
