Upon arrival we received an upgrade to a family suite on the13th floor, room 1311, which had views over the harbour. Great room with plenty of space consisting of open kitchen, 2 bedrooms with queen beds and each room had on-suites. The room had everything needed to be self contained (including washing machine liquid and dishwashing tablets) and made the stay very comfortable.
The roof top bar area with, 360 views of the city and habour, is a fun place to end the day and the free snacks, when purchasing drinks, is a treat.
Thank you Ramada, we greatly appreciate the upgrade, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend your suites and stay again when visiting Darwin.

We enjoyed our stay especially because it has a self catering kitchen, a good pool, and self parking. We also had lovely views towards Fisherman’s Wharf.
The staff were all lovely and helpful and the roof top bar is a great bonus, with great views across the city.
It would be even better with a more comfortable lounge. Thank you.

Location of the property was great & the staff were very helpful. The hotel is pretty dated & the room was very tired & could do with a deep clean. It was also very unfortunate that the pool was closed during our visit too.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, lots of information for sightseeing.
Very quiet, clean room, bed was comfortable.
Parking was easy, walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Breakfast was off menu not a buffet like we expected but was cooked fresh and was nice sitting on or outside seating.
Rooftop bar beautiful views at night.
Definitely would recommend and re- visit.

I travelled with my Mum from Melbourne and we loved our stay at the Ramada! Easy check in for a 2am arrival and the rooftop bar with views was a really nice spot to unwind. You could walk easily down to the wharf and we loved watching all the movement down at the fishing docks! Would reccomend

The communication by the staff was cold and on the point of rude. The staff did not care about the customer.
I cancelled my booking and left before to find another hotel. I do not recommend this hotel if customer service and a warm atmosphere is what you want. Also if you don't run a credit card they demand $500 cash deposit!! ( Especially as a return customer).
The hotel I walked into around the corner - central hotel - came up with an option within a minute. ( Intravel a lot for work and leisure and will never stay at the Zen again

The Ramada suites are located in a high rise on the edge of Darwin CBD. It is a 15 min walk to the centre of the CBD or the harbour area. It has parking facilities and probably best suits those with a car. The apartment was clean and all required amenities were present. The focus is on practicality for housekeeping rather than guest comfort, with fully tiled floors, limited servicing and rather cramped bathroom & bedroom. The living space in our 1BR upgraded suite was generous, but furnishings rather basic. Pool was great. The “included” breakfast was limited to value pp.

The rooms are a bit worn, the tile floors and glass bedroom walls bounce sound and lighting is harsh- a bit more 3 than 4 star. But the people are nice, the rooftop bar is super popular and the price is about right.
