Great location, boutique hotel, you can take the boat to the canal right out of the hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was cute, we had bath robes and slippers ! The room had a musky smell that remind me of my grandma’s living room, other than that amazing choice.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and food. Location is ideal. Only negative was the restricted access to the toilet. In order to fit a more luxurious jacuzzi bath, space was sacrificed for the toilet which was wedged in a small space with high sides on either side. Having said that, I would absolutely stay there again.

What a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city. The location could not be any more central, the staff are wonderful and the breakfasts are without the doubt the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. (Including the Waldorf Astoria and the Dorchester) We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Bruges.

Small hotel with a personal touch. Breakfast was lovely and hospitality brilliant. Steps to suite not for anyone with walking difficulties or poor eyesight ( lift only stops one floor above). Would have been a five star review had it not been for the really bad smell in our bathroom that we reported on arrival but remained the same throughout our stay.

We arrived and were welcomed at the desk, while checking in the lady serving us attended to 2 other people during our service. Once she left to make coffees for someone and then she attended to someone checking out. I expected to have her full attention while checking in and other guests waiting as they can see she was busy. The room was lovely and big, the sofa bed was made up for our teenage daughter. After laying on it for sometime there was a metal bar across it which made sleeping very uncomfortable. On check out we were charged €30 for this bed. We were told they knew the bed was uncomfortable when we informed the reception as they had been told previously. They then told us that the charge was because they were told we had a child under 2 with us and not a teenager. Unsure why a sofa bed was made up for a child under 2! We booked a parking space which we knew we would have to pay extra for but they then charged an extra €25 for using the electric charger. So our parking for 1 night was€50! Breakfast was €25 extra per person but we don’t eat much in the mornings so declined. We did not find anywhere localish that was open before 9 for breakfast. Bathroom was a good size but unless you’re 6 foot tall you’ll have to plug the hairdryer in in the bedroom. The hotel is in a great location for the square and the many attractions in Bruge and just around from the chocolate shops. A little disappointed in general with the hotel and extra charges.
