We loved the well-kept spacious suite with waterfront views of the harbour. The complementary water shuttle service to Hamilton, and the private shuttle to the beach and to the Belmont’s Blu restaurant were appreciated. Food and service at the Aurora restaurant and patio were excellent.

This hotel is just amazing. Loved the pool, the restaurant, the complementary ferry and shuttle to Coco Reef. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Great servers and pool staff. Our only issue was that we took the shuttle to Coco Reef late afternoon with a return time we were told of 4:10. The shuttle driver came at 4 and was annoyed and rude that we weren’t there…even though we told him that we were advised the return trip was 4:10!! Not a huge deal but so uncharacteristic of this wonderful hotel.

The wood railings are not sturdy. Rooms are exceptionally thought out. The Aurora restaurant should have more choices in food and the staff was not very welcoming in the restaurant. Everyone else on the premises was very accommodating and friendly. The spa did an excellent job with the pedicure. Pool area was 99% clean and well maintained.

Pool was great and staff were friendly and helpful. No bookings at the spa, limited drinks at pool bar and the tennis courts were closed for renovations which was not mentioned until we checked it.

The location across the harbor from Hamilton is superb.
The infinity pool and hot tub had just been renovated and were gorgeous.
But our room down in one of the older buildings near the water was in desperate need of work. The bathroom faucet had completely failed and it took two attempts over two days to get someone to look at it...when they came it fell apart on them. Bathroom was grubby, moldy and in need of a refresh. Tiles were loose, flooring in front of patio damaged. Bed was good and sheets clean.
Staff at reception were not very receptive...both to us saying there was a problem with the bathroom and when we asked for a late checkout (which the paperwork said we could get).

We had a lovely time. The whole team was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the golf course and the ferry are super useful.
The rooms are nice and spacious with good views across the sound. Some of the decor and condition is a little bit old/worn. But this didn’t affect our enjoyment.
The tennis courts and the pool were closed for renovations, so we weren’t able to use them

The Newstead was perfect for our family of four. We stayes in a two bedroom condo with beautiful water views. The staff were very friendly and super helpful with recommendations and they happily accomodated our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property. We took advantage of the golf course and spa. The only downside was that the pool was under construction and not usable, but we had access to a newrby property with a pool and beach access.

Housekeeping was excellent and we enjoyed the complimentary launch to Hamilton several times a day. A few things in our king 1 BDRM needed attention: dresser drawers wouldn't stay closed, loose handle on refrigerator, kitchen very dark, poor quality cooking pots.

The property and the staff are lovely !!!! Unfortunately we were there while pool renovations were being done and the jackhammer all day long was a bit much , however we were offered a small refund . They have an awesome water ferry on the property but on a winter limited schedule . We made the best of the transportation and would recommend this beautiful resort to anyone who asked !

We really enjoyed our stay here, everything was top tier. We stayed in a 1bed 1-1/2 bath Suite. It was lovely! Had to take a point off because there were ants present in the bathroom and we had to take extra care to mitigate them. We did appreciate that there was ant spray in the unit to use.

Property was comfortable, nice, and clean. Rooms were spacious. Staff were very curteous and helpful. Access is somewhat limited. Shuttle boat to Hamilton was under maintenance which we did not know. Getting around was expensive and took alot of planning.
Our 6:30 am taxi to the airport did not show. Thankfully the security person was able to call another taxi and we got to the airport by a margin. A bit stressful.
All in all a good stay.
