Room was small but clean, bed was comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful with our bags. You can hear most things in the hallway. Cons: no elevator and no public bathroom. Location was superb. Hot spot for locals. Food and drinks all within wallking distance. Quiet neighborbood and felt safe. Coming from Vancouver BC... felt like commercial drive. Would stay again and i would recommend folks to check out. Every local we ran into said "thats a good area".

Was a great stay staff at the front desk was so sweet and friendly, quick and easy check in , room was decent for the price, the location was amazing! Only complaint is the walls are paper thin could hear everythingggg outside and in the other rooms lol

The property is located in a residential part of Halifax but close to tourist attractions like Citade andl boardwalk. The room was comfortable but rather Spartan a chest of drawers or a table perhaps. Excellent location great staff great neighborhood.

Haunted scary place with unsafe area around. Mouse in room. Very dirty place. Not even a single water bottle inside the room. Washroom was stinky.

Light was out in the stair well, room only had 2 double beds, reserved for 2 queen size beds. Room as cold heat was not on. Noise from other guests and staff bang on a door of another guesses room in the middle of the night!

The room was very small but clean. The widow trim showed signs of water damage and/or mold. The chair was not usable as the legs were very loose and unstable. It really requires some upkeep maintenance.

I found mouse droppings in my room after my first night there!! My room had a mouse deterent device which I only noticed after I saw the droppings. I was not comfortable staying another night even though they offered a different room. Front Desk would not offer me a refund when I went to check out early due to a prepaid room booking. Front desk implied I may have attracted mice due to my having food or drink in my room (which I did not). Overall, I was very displeased with the handling of this and ended up paying double because I moved hotels.

The room's furniture should be dumped and replaced with maybe IKEA furniture for a clean modern look. the hallway's wall need a complete new bright paint job. the hall carpets whould be steam cleaned or replaced. TV seervice would be also nice in each room. Noisy fridge.

This was a tough place to stay for four nights. There is no coffee maker in the room.or anywhere in the hotel. The bed was poor. There was no desk and chair in the room to work at. It was noisy at night. You can hear everything going on below and across the hall.
