It seems extras i need i had to pay a fee..limited time for storage..only one set of laundry facilities in the whole hotel.. I thought i paid the room with my visa with Expedita i had to pay with my debit card of $300.00 plus..

This hotel is very very ghetto. The staff does not know how to speak English. I had to clean my own room. I would ask front desk for something and I would get something totally different. There was a person trying to mace the whole hotel and the breakfast was trash. They didn’t even have cream cheese for the bagels.

It was outdated, really needs some renos. Broken elevator. Broken waterslide. Typical pool, but outdated. Staff was mostly friendly. Tiny breakfast area with not enough room to eat.

Our room was extremely warm, even with the heat turned off. The AC didn't work (the wall plug wasn't working), and the electrical outlet beside the bed wasn't working. We all bately got any sleep because of the heat! And its not even summer!

I needed a last minute room and booked here due to lack of other options. The towels had dirty smudges on them, the bathroom and bedside counters had burn marks. The duvet smelled very bad of old cigarette smoke, the chair in the corner was covered in dark stains. I stayed with my asthmatic child and it was a terrible night for her due to the old smoke in the blankets

The staff were very friendly, but the hotel is older and has a lot of patch work throughout. The pool and hot tub were both under filled - the deep end was only 4ft (instead of 4.5ft) and shallow end 2ft (instead of 2.5ft). Small pool overall, but good for young kids. The slide is out of service indefinitely, which was disappointing as it was the reason we booked here versus other hotels at similar price points. Our basic room was very small and if you ran either heat or AC it was very noisy. The most disappointing thing was the free breakfast - small room that only can accommodate 20 seated people and had a line up of 15 waiting for the "instant" waffle maker which took several minutes per waffle. It was pure insanity in there. Overall - it was OK (we'v stayed worse) and the staff were wonderful. The facility could use a lot of attention in common areas.

Good value for good price

Absolutely terrible as stated and nothing close to the pictures that are advertised. Our room was not the type of room we had reserved. None of the pictures of the inside or outside of the hotel were accurate. There were burn marks on everything (curtains, carpet, chair). The room had a funny smell. We did not trust even touching the king bed. And for a non smoking room it had clearly been smoked in by every person who has stayed there there were stains on the walls. Sitting furniture was stained with god knows what. The room had a funny smell. There was damage in the bathroom. The couch bed that we specifically requested was not only extremely dirty but there was crumbs of something in it when we folded it out. The door did not latch at all we walked in without a keycard. And they are charging more than the nice hotels in the city. The staff was not friendly at all and got sketchy when asked about a refund after all the issues were brought to their attention. And they made sure I paid before I was ever given my room key and a security deposit equal to the cost of the room (this was a first for me typically I have always paid when leaving) This hotel should be condemned based on the very small amount of time spent there. I felt unsafe and very gross after leaving. There was even bleach stains all over the hallway carpets. Photos are just a few snaps we took of some of the things we found.

Terrible place. Won’t be staying there again ever.

We stayed over as I was having surgery the next morning and it was easier to stay in Edmonton than drive in super early

Unfortunately the water slide was closed. The staff are pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, it was close to many amenities.

It was good. Pretty quiet, close to shopping centre. There’s not much choices for the breakfast continental but since it’s included in the room it’s okay.

The rooms were very deceiving from the photos posted on the website; Small. Dirty. Strong cigarette odor. Loud fan outside of the room in hallway AND one under our window. Tub was very small. One roll of toilet paper. The hallway was dirty and also had bad odors, garbages through out the building were over flowing. There were 5! Full bags of garbage sitting in the entry way to the "breakfast" room. The "breakfast" room was dirty, messy. Dirty plates covered the counter tops, garbage overflowing, what coffee was left was cold. The creamers were out dated. No fruit available nor yogurt. Milk for cereal was warm. .HORRIBLE experience. Will NOT be returning and will be forwarding my experience to others as a warning.

I'll start by saying that we had a very early start to our day and we just wanted to climb into bed and fall asleep. Our room was on the second floor, at the very end of the hallway. Oh, but the elevator is broken down. Normally, not a big thing, but just tired and want to climb in bed. The bed was very soft, which was actually worn out. Had to move the bed to have access for a plugin. There were parts of the bed frame laying on the floor underneath there and a complete layer of dust and lint. Too tired to say anything that night. The next morning. Bathtub - Rust and lint on the top ledge. Shower head barely had water coming thru. Still tape on the top of the bathroom mirror from painting, who knows how long ago. The sink countertop looked to be ready to fall apart. The floor was scratched up like someone had taken a ice skate to it in one area. Go down for the free breakfast, and front counter directs us to go down the hallway and then to the left. Enter the restaurant and I say to the hostess, we are here for the free breakfast. She seats us and shows us the menu and says this is your options. So we order, food comes with deep fried bacon (who does that?). She checks that we are done, and says that she will be right back. She brings a bill. Turns out that this is a paying restaurant. Where you turn in on the hallway, their big display with their choices of the day, is actually covering the sign on the wall that states "Free Breakfast -->" (Turn right instead)

Good enough.

We were approached by several drug induced people asking for money and cigarettes upon entering the building. They were hanging around inside and outside. The entrance was littered with cigarettes. The room was fine. Run down but it was fine. It was just gross having to take the elevator to our room with people spitting in the elevator. Won’t use this hotel again. Hotel advertised with a Smitty’s. But no longer a Smitty’s. Breakfast was weak

Room AC was not working and hotel maintenance could not fix it. We spent the night in 27 degrees which was unpleasant. Ended up shortening the stay to only one night but charges came through on the credit card for an amount higher than quoted for three nights. Management is unresponsive to my messages and I’m still trying to get the charges corrected which should include a $470 refund.

The hotel is looking very tired and old but clean.

The front end staff were incredible, knowledgeable and made us feel welcome.To the resturant staff, thank you so much for your hospitality. The food was good, tomatoe soup was the best I've had in years. Try the butter chicken, you won't be disappointed.
