Wonderful comfy beds . Nice breakfasts. Helpful staff. Clean. Piri piri restaurant on site was a disaster. Husband ordered a pizza finally got it .mine didnt turn up. Waiter said sorry coming in few minutes , half an hour later turned up with a plate of seafood rice. We were only one of 4 people. Just a bad night , he said he was sorry and no charge. Think someone was spaced out!

I arrived late at night and the receptionist Lou was friendly. I asked the hotel for the shuttle and there was lack of communication their side. They hadn't confirmed and i booked via a different site and they sent a taxi anyway! Luckily my private taxi agreed to take me on the return airport run. The room was lovely and spacious. Nice bathroom and balcony too. Aircon and a fan. All staff were nice and happy to help. 5 minutes from the pier and beach. Great location.

Spent a week at Sobrado Hotel. The good points: The staff are reasonably friendly and accommodating. The hotel is 5-7 minutes walk to Santa Maria, with bars, restaurants and several golden miles of beautiful beaches. Our room was superb, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good at the hotel with a good selection of cooked items, cold hams and salamis, fresh fruits, yoghurt and pastries. The poor points that hotel needs to improve: I had health and safety concerns with all the gym equipments which need replacement. We couldn't use the gym facilities. There was no spa services available, so went to another establishment. The hotel location, while entirely safe and accessible to beach and social life in Santa Maria, was on the edge of a desolate area. Sal is incredibly dry and desert-like, similar to Morocco or elsewhere in North Africa.

This hotel has everything you need including ceiling fans which are better than air con. Fantastic breakfasts and a short walk to the best beach where you can use the cabanas from the Halos hotel. Its the best value hotel on the island too!

We loved this hotel. The staff are great. It’s cheap as chips compared to other hotels in the town( because) it’s a 5 min walk to the glorious beach where they have an arrangement with another hotel to use their cabanas! The rooms are modern, spacious with ceiling fans which are better than air con as they are quiet. We voted the breakfast here the best of the hol, from 3 !

Hotel is modern clean and with all the basics you require, Beach towels, toiletries, breakfast etc. Price was excellent as is the location just on the edge of town, 5 minutes walk to restaurants, the beach, shops etc - highly recommend

This hotel was clean and everything cleaned daily in room. The staff were fantastic,so friendly and helpful with everything you needed. The hotel had a sister hotel 5/10 mins away which had a lovely pool plus you could use their sunbeds on beach very near. The hotel was a 5/10 min walk into Santa Maria plus some restaurants really close by. We would highly recommend the Sobradi and it’s not overpriced. We left yesterday. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and set us up for the day

Check in was impersonal and the room we were given had not been cleaned at all. I complained and we were given another room - 'sorry' - but the key thing here is that they weren't interested in even looking at the original room. The outside light on the very small balcony (no furniture!) could not be switched off and the light polluted the room - we we told that it switched off automatically at midnight - 'sorry'. The next day the hot water system leaked all over the bathroom. Again we complained and we were given another slightly better room - 'sorry' - this was three rooms in three days. As this time we had unpacked, moving rooms was time consuming and tedious. Again - 'sorry'. At no time during our stay did the management attempt to make contact and apologise in person. And breakfast - the staff had to be chased for absolutely everything each day for seven days - no glasses, cutlery - hot drinks had to be fetched individually from somewhere outside the breakfast space. The selection of food was very poor and would frequently run out. Staff at breakfast were very poorly trained - not even 'sorry' was offered. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Rommet var ikke så rent ved ankomst, men ellers bra de andre dagene. Sengen var veldig komfortabel. God mat på hotellet, men ikke særlig stort utvalg. Personalet var super hyggelige og hjelpsomme! Var ikke fornøyd med massasjen jeg tok på hotellet, den var lite tilfredsstillende. Bra beliggenhet.

Quarto grande com tudo a funcionar bem. A condição geral podia ser melhor e o colchão (de espuma) deveria ser trocado. O pequeno-almoço tinha variedade mas a qualidade poderia ser melhor. Atendendo ao preço não sei se ficaria novamente pois a relação preço - qualidade não era muito boa.

Chambres très spacieuses mais malheureusement nous n’avions pas un grand lit mais deux petits rapprochés Personnel agréable Gros bémol sur les repas : petits déjeuners et un seul déjeuner qui ont lieu dans une salle triste à pleurer et très bruyante
