Right on Naking pedestrian walk with pretty of restaurants and shops. Room is spaceous. Needs more thorough cleaning of bathroom grouts and minor repairs throughout the place. Beware that there are about ten steps at the hotel entrance, avoid staying here if your are disabled, difficult walking or have heavy luggage’s

Great location on Nanjing Road with plenty of access to shopping and restaurants. Hotel is old and elevator broke down having to take the stairs from the 16th floor to the 7th. House keeping did come and help with luggage but was not ideal situation at all. Also had hairs on the bed and bathroom that was not mine. Was only staying in Shanghai one night so did not say anything since was only transitioning through.

The location is very strategic for night life , shopping and near in so many attractions but the building is dilapidated, needs to be improved . I was given a room with terrace but looks so scary and it seems the curtain were not washed for a long time . The elevator doesn’t start at the ground floor so it very inconvenient since the reception is on the 7th floor . lobby is not pleasing .

The restuarant was just ok, a lot of the dishes on the menu were unavailable . The noodles were good but the coffee was just average. The location is good . THe wallpaper is very pretty. The view from the window is good. The safe did not work. There was no battery in it. We got a family room, the small living room was nice. the wifi was average, not slow but not high speed either. The man and woman at the front desk are very professional and nice.

Central location is good but the hotel is very old and shabby. Free breakfast was tiny and just strange. Being on a business trip the biggest problem for me was the almost non- existent Wi-Fi. Even the direct connected Ethernet was very slow. I think if you are on holiday you would enjoy a more modern hotel a lot more.
