This is my first time to Shanghai China, very excited, when choosing this hotel, there were many bad comments about this hotel, but after staying here, everything was fine, the hotel location is good, surrounded by tourist areas, the hotel room is also clean, every day housekeeping cleans my room, replaces bath towels every day, and is supplied with bottled water every day, from the airport to this hotel is also very easy to use the metro, and for everyone's information, it is really easy to find food around this hotel. Old world charm but very comfortable. Incredibly convenient location, right on Nanjing Road. Very accessible to transport and 'Hop on and Hop off' bus stop outside. Staff very friendly and hospitable.

Great location on Nanjing Road with plenty of access to shopping and restaurants. Hotel is old and elevator broke down having to take the stairs from the 16th floor to the 7th. House keeping did come and help with luggage but was not ideal situation at all. Also had hairs on the bed and bathroom that was not mine. Was only staying in Shanghai one night so did not say anything since was only transitioning through.

The restuarant was just ok, a lot of the dishes on the menu were unavailable . The noodles were good but the coffee was just average. The location is good . THe wallpaper is very pretty. The view from the window is good. The safe did not work. There was no battery in it. We got a family room, the small living room was nice. the wifi was average, not slow but not high speed either. The man and woman at the front desk are very professional and nice.
