We just stayed 5 nights in this hotel. The hotel is right in the center of all the arts, tourist activities, and markets in San Jose! It is a safe location; the staff are exceptional, accomodating and speak good English & Spanish. Each morning you get a "cooked to order breakfast" as part of the price. And, the price is much less than comparable hotels in the area. (It is a boutique hotel w/28 rooms, but great for couples and small groups). Even the locals do not know of this hotel and it is only five years old.

A very central location, very clean, the staff is overly friendly, typical of Costa Ricans, and the food is super delicious. It's also accessible by public transport in seconds, close to shops and restaurants. I definitely think it will be my favorite place when I return to San Jose.

The bedrooms are really small, but really small, I got one with A/C I don’t even have a window. It was and small box with no windows or balcony. Depressing , The structure of the building doesn’t have a minimal noice insulation you can hear every single's noise from the other bedrooms, doors and Comun areas, in my case it was really hard to sleep property, the lady in front desk is very nice and help me in everything she can, actually she is the only good thing I can says about this hotel, visitors is not allow, just in case you have someone to visit you, I don't think the price you pay is worth it.

This hotel is conveniently located, close to restaurants, supermarkets and stores. Transportation is easy, also. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side but adequate for the price. Breakfast is delicious!

The hotel is extremely well located every location of interest in the downtown is walkable. The hotel is extremely clean and as on the pictures. We had breakfast included which was great, nice choice, local food options and large portions. It was perfect. Our room was rather noisy because of the work ongoing in the backstreet. As if the room is noisy if it is a problem for you. We didn’t change room. We would use it again next time

The hotel is located in a bad, unsafe area with no parking available. The staff appeared unhappy and uninterested, as if they were just there for a paycheck. The sheets were dirty, the A/C and toilet didn’t work properly, and I didn’t feel safe at all. The location is extremely noisy and chaotic, and the food was also very disappointing. Overall, a very bad hotel experience.

The room was good and comfortable. We had a balcony but the door was sealed shut. The street noise was loud. All the employees from the desk to the restaurant to the cleaning crew were very friendly and helpful. Extremely convenient to markets.

Great stay in the middle of the plaza. Very walkable. Rooms were clean and mondern. Breakfast was awesome. Take advantage every morning. Great choices. Front desk personnel were pleasant and helpful. No complaints from me.
