This is my absolute favorite Cairo hotel! The Novotel staff is wonderful and kind. The rooms are large, lovely, and have wonderful air conditioning. The location is beautiful. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

This was a typical Holiday Inn / Hampton Inn type hotel. Typical hot buffet breakfast with lots of kids running around. The room was more modern and upscale than a Holiday Inn. The only thing that sort of 'stuck in my mouth' was having to haggle with their taxi/tour service on prices. (Prices are very high and when you gasp, they expect you to bargain them down.) That's the whole point of using their service is NOT to haggle. Use Uber.

Hotel is average, we suffered a lot with the key, was not working properly for the elevator and the room and we had to go to the reception several times to fix it. No ironing machine in the room, no slippers, the shampoo was of a very poor quality

The staff were very kind and courteous and spoke enough English to assist whenever we needed help. The hotel is starting to show its age a bit, but is still mostly well-maintained. Although the rooftop restaurant and the breakfast cafe were very good and convenient, it does feel a bit limited. The area outside the hotel can be a bit noisy at night, but my wife and I are used to sleeping in a loud environment. Overall, a pleasant experience.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made our stay even more special. The location was perfect, and the view of the Nile River was simply breathtaking. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This is a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay here. The location is right by the Nile and across from a park.
Th rooms are decent size and clean. The elevators are fast and we didn't have to wait longer for them.
Service by the staff was prompt.
We really enjoyed the breakfast served each morning. It had a lot of options and fueled us for the day.
Overall, nice stay and highly recommend.

It had sweeping views of the Cairo skyline and the Nile river. The hustle and bustle of the city was all around but it still felt peaceful in the core and extremely safe. The staff were knowledgeable, welcoming & the views from the room were great. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. All things that make for a nice stay in my opinion. A highlight for me was the daily breakfast and waking up that first morning it was the first time I realized this city needs to accommodate foreigners from all over the world. The options were accommodating to both a western and eastern pallet all at once. It was hard to not overeat as I wanted to make sure I had room for the culinary beast that I’d soon find Cairo to be.

Amazing view, lovely and very helpful staff. Very good location to go around in Cairo (and Giza). Thanks to Ahmed at the reception, he was very kind to give us a free upgrade. Breakfast was decent enough too.

Couple of minor issues (blocked toilet, telephone not working, etc.) but they were very quick to address them so not a big deal.

We had a wonderful stay thanks to the kind and friendly staff and lovely view of the Nile. The hotel is a short walk away from the Egyptian Museum and is on the quieter side of the river. The food was great and views from the rooftop restaurant were spectacular. Thanks to all for a great stay and to Mr. Omar for keeping our room spotless.

The Property has some of the best views of the Nile river. On the other side of the river there are the Ritz Carlton, Hilton Ramses and Fourseasons etc. but they are facing west, so for the most part of the afternoon you cannot look out of the window from those hotels. Novotel has the river to the East, so you enjoy nice sunrise and the Evenings as well. You can see the river cruises pass by from 8pm to 11PM.
