Blandford Hotel

Great hotel in a great location, very handy for going to central London. It was nice and quiet in the evenings. We went for a bigger room and it was a really nice space, comfortable and clean. The lift wasn't working at the time which was a shame as we were on the top (fourth) floor and breakfast was in the basement, so it meant we had a mini workout after breakfast, but otherwise it was a really good stay. The staff were lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Room was good size for small double, very clean overall, comfortable bed. Quiet area in handy location near public transport. Breakfast was included in price-quality cooked breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Blandford Hotel. The staff were very helpful and responsive to our needs from extra towels to calling cabs. The included breakfast was great. The location was also wonderful. It is close to transportation and many great attractions in the city. Rooms are small, but you aren't in London to spend time in the room. Definitely recommend staying here!

Very nice room and breakfast

The Blandford is a charming hotel with a warm and helpful staff. They serve a beautiful breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The location is great. Nearby public transport, restaurants, popular attractions and in a nice neighborhood. Most of the staff were friendly except a woman at the front desk upon check-in and a woman working the breakfast setup/cleanup. She didn't understand much English and was quite unfriendly. The head host was much more helpful, understood English and at least smiled. The breakfast is not how its explained or shown on the website or what is said in reviews. The pastries are definitely not fresh (packaged store bought mass produced). The bread was OK but a little dry. The eggs were good. There were no English muffins or bagels. The mini croissants were hard (no fresh baked). The fruit on the 1st day was old and soft. A new batch of apples were available on the days after. There were some cereals. The OJ not fresh squeezed, very sour. The apple juice was great. No variety of yogurt, just plain white yogurt and on some days some cut up berries in a sauce. Luckily there are 2 bakeries around the corner if you want fresh bread or pastries. The room with 2 single beds was small but clean. The hallways, carpet and furniture were clean and kept up. There is a single elevator. The lobby living room was a nice place to hang out after checkout. A nice perk was to allow our luggage to be stored until late afternoon. Yes I would return, but not with high expectations for the breakfast.

Breakfast is excellent with continental and cooked options.fantastic location offering ease of access to many activities and eateries. The room is small but comfortable and there is a safe and wardrobe storage. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and it has consistently offered a good, comfortable experience at an affordable price.

Clean comfortable room with large modern bathroom. Staff was lovely especially the kitchen. Breakfast was great fresh and very good. Will definitely recommend it and stay there again

Given its excellent location this Hotel was reasonably priced. The rooms are smallish which is often the case in London but apart from that everything else was very good. Very clean with good facilities and everything you need for a comfy stay. Staff were friendly and efficient with an adequate breakfast. Lots of restaurants and upmarket shopping nearby. I would use this Hotel again.

The hotel was lovely, food excellent, position in the city ideal close to bus and tram routes, staff very helpful and polite. One problem prior to our visit we were scammed online and asked to give card details to register our attendance and to check in on line, not the hotels fault but be very wary, we booked through Expedia, for the first time and and first time we were scammed, so I suggest Expedia tighten up their web security, we will not be booking through Expedia again. We have not had any sort of apology off Expedia, we have had an apology from the hotel

Never stay here smallest rooms ever, staff rude and not accommodating. Wish I’d read reviews before I booked !!!

I booked and paid extra for an executive room as specifically needed a fridge but this isn’t the room type i was given. Reception were unable to offer the room when challenged
