Their check in process is so easy! You can do it yourself through self-service machines they have in the lobby. If you get stuck, the personnel is prompt and kind to offer assistance. The location is amazing with public transportation right in front of the hotel. The food was pretty good and not outrageously pricy for a hotel. If I get another chance to go to London, I'm definitely staying there again.

Had no light bulbs and no shower gel, made reception aware. Only offered us a late check out which we couldn’t use as we needed to leave before original check out time. Didn’t really help or accommodate for the lack of lighting & soap. I’d stay here again though.

I love this hotel. Wish my room had a fridge. Bathroom is great. Staff is very polite and professional. Will definitely stay there again.

There were a couple of discarded ice buckets and empty champagne bottles in the third floor lift lobby when we checked in late Sunday afternoon. Looked like they were from the night before... Disappointing as I had complained about discarded food trays after a recent visit... Nice clean room but heavy duvet was too warm. Tap was moving in basin - no or loose back nut. Nice bath but when it emptied the shower tray filled with nasty black gunk - bathroom waste pipes need flushing. Lovely meal and great service at The Globe. Ideally placed to visit Kew Gardens by one stop tube.

In general it was reasonably clean and staff were polite. However, I would expect better from a four star hotel, such as a sink without drainage issues, hot chocolate should be made with milk and not water; or at least ask the question. When the room was “cleaned” it seemed as though only the bathroom was cleaned whilst the room itself had not been touched. Upon entering the hotel one is blasted with a strong scent / air freshener which needs to be toned down a bit. The hotel is in a good area with a quick walk to many cafes, restaurants and other shops. The tube station is very close and one can get to Heathrow Airport via this method of transportation.

I have stayed here so many times over the past eight years . Always happy with room / stay . This time the experience did not meet expectations. There were noticeable stains on the carpet and upholstery, which made the space feel unclean and poorly maintained. The bathroom was also below standard with visible stains that raised concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. It clearly had not been deep cleaned in some time .

Stayed here at Christmas and had an amazing experience with a fabulous room. However, this time the room was very different and not of the same standard. The TV didn’t work, the sink was blocked, there was a huge piece of silver tape holding the mirror together and the room basically needed an upgrade (room 519). Didn’t report as when I booked it said this was the last room available so knew there wasn’t an alternative. Disappointed after previous experience, especially as the price was no cheaper. On the positive the room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the parking was reasonable (£22) and safe and the food was excellent. Also only a short walk to the underground station and a 20 min walk to Kew Gardens. Will probably try this hotel again but would really really hope for a better experience next time.

Was at the hotel for a few nights for work, have stayed here before and like it as there is a secure car park and close to tube station. Staff are all good, especially the bar staff, and food is also pretty good. It is a very good hotel in a nice part of London.
