Crown Hotel Harrogate

Great 2 night stay, beautiful hotel, staff excellent.

The room was clean, with a few small rubbish from previous guest. The room itself is quite dated, but that is the nature of the building. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and cheerful. They deserve great praise. Wifi was reliable. The breakfast was tasty and a classic full English breakfast. Coffee machines provided tasty coffee too.

Great hotel, beautiful lobby area with.period features, all staff very friendly and helpful. 5 mins walk to town, parking at £15 per night with your own designated spot per stay. Comfy bed,clean throughout

I had a 2 night stay at the Crown Hotel with my husband and it was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. There was a fan set out as the weather was warm and we had tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits. The bed was very comfortable. While we were at breakfast next day housekeeping cleaned the room and we were given more biscuits too. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice of foods. My husband said the bar was very good, while I was enjoying a relaxing bath. Reception staff were brilliant, helpful and trying to do everything possible to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I will definitely come back.

Clean room Easy access to all amenities. Staff very helpful polite and understanding. A great place to stay.Breakfast and evening meal available if you need.

Friendly staff, parking convenient but expensive. Breakfast buffet well stocked and good choices. old building, lots of stairs and the floors creaked.

Quiet hotel, helpful staff, particularly the young staff, eager to make your stay a nice stay, I did notice an older staff member answering a young staff member with a direct answer and not with the courtesy I’m sure she would have wanted from him in the breakfast area, but the young man just walked to the greeting area and carried on, well done to him but shame on her, it stayed with me for a while, this was this morning Sunday 17th May.

Close the Town centre, parking spot on. Staff very welcoming, breakfast very good. Floor boards creaky hotel a littled dated but made up for it with charm cleanliness, & good staff

A large historic and characterful hotel. The creaky floor boards strongly hint at its age. They offer nostalgia and comfort during the day but in the early hours even the nimblest of feet cant creep silently past your door. Staff are in the main friendly. Perhaps the receptionists could up their game and match the happy personality of the rest of this well trained team.

Beautiful hotel full of character and charm in a great location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. We really appreciated the lovely anniversary touches, including the swan towels, card, chocolate bar, and complimentary late check-out, which made our stay feel extra special. A couple of things could be improved. There is no hotel parking, and the local car park costs £16 for 24 hours. The rooms didn’t quite match the usual standard expected from the hotel. The pillows were quite lumpy, and the bathroom floor was sloped with very creaky floorboards, which made the room feel a little tired. Complimentary water in the room would also be a nice touch. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with beautiful character features and lots of potential — it just needs a little freshening up in places.

Rooms are clean, I received an upgrade to executive lounge which I adapted to very nicely Hotel staff were fantastic professional very helpful I will be staying again soon
