Geminian Guest House

Great place to stay and I would happily stay here again. Great location, friendly and helpful staff and nice room.

The Geminian is a beautiful B&B located on the edge of Harrogate town centre. It’s a short walk from all the sights of this historic spa town. On arrival we were greeted by Michael who explained about our stay and showed us our room. We were allocated room 2 which was found spotless. This room served us well for our two night stay. The bathroom was also spotless and the shower was warm. Michael and his wife Denise also cook up an amazing breakfast to start the day. There were plenty of choices and the Yorkshire tea always goes down well. A small side note is parking in Harrogate is not great. Michael issues you with a parking ticket to park nearby to cover your stay but remember to park in the bays as you will be fined. Overall a super B&B in Harrogate and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

This was bought as a present for my dad, they had a wonderful time and mentioned how friendly and helpful the owners are, they loved it and will be looking to go back, 1st class.

The guest house is in a side street near to the centre of Harrogate. Easy access to shops and restaurants including Bettys Tea Rooms.

The room was spotless with 2 chairs and a small table to sit in comfort and enjoy a cuppa. Owners were lovely. ancookies

The couple who run this BnB are wonderful! They were responsive and even helped us find another place to stay when we needed to extend our trip, and they couldn't accommodate the extra days as they were already booked. We loved it and would stay again!

We stayed for two nights in mid-August in order to meet up with family, who live locally. The Geminian is in a brilliant position, really close to the town centre, shops, bars and restaurants etc. It is accessible both by car but also bus or train, being not far from the station. We received a warm welcome from the owners and were provided with patking permits for our stay. The guest house is spotlessly clean in all areas and thoughtfully and freshly decorated throughout. There is a lounge area available for guests to use. Our room was of a good size with storage for our things and pleasantly decorated. The en-suite bathroom was small but perfectly functional. The shower was a bit tight. The owners have thought of everything that guests could need for their stay. The hairdryer was powerful and extra tea/coffee and biscuits provided on request. The breakfast was made to order and both excellently cooked and of good portion. There was also juice, fruit, yoghurt, cereal and toast as well as plentiful tea and coffee. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again for future visits to Harrogate.

Couldn’t fault our stay at Geminian Guest House. It was in the perfect location, easy to find. Our host was welcoming and friendly and gave great advice on places to eat and information we needed when requested. Our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was everything we needed it to be. We would return to this guest house if we were looking to stay in Harrogate again.

If you are looking for a friendly welcome, a great location and a lovely, clean room then this is ideal. The owner even remembered breakfast orders in case you wanted the same as the previous day. I have already reserved a room here for my next visit to Harrogate.

Extremely friendly and helpful host. Well organised. Allowed me to check in early and sorted my parking out with permits for the on street parking. Clean and smart looking place. Excellent cooked breakfast.

We had a couple of days in Harrogate and this was just the right spot. Clean, cosy and close to the centre of Harrogate, with enough distance that you didn't feel in the middle of chaos. We were well looked after from before our arrival and I cannot recommend the place highly enough.

A great place to stay for a meeting at the conference centre (2 minute walk). Less than 10 minutes walk from the station. Comfortable clean room. Excellent breakfast. Great communication and welcome.
