Great location

I was a bit flustered when I arrived but my host took it in his stride and walked me through everything. I was especially surprised and grateful for the free top up for my EV as this can be a bone of contention on trips. The only thing I feel could be helpful would be to offer a fan for the room as there is no A/C and it was particularly hot but, apart from that minor issue, it was a lovely stay and I hope to return again soon.

The room and position were great. Owner was exceptionally helpful. Our only problem was that we were in a front room which was a bit noisy.

Milka's was clean, quiet, well-located and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it.

Convenient to bus routes, and quiet place to sleep after a long day in Oxford. Just down the street from Magdalen Arms, our favourite pub for delicious dinner! Room is small, but comfortable enough for 2. Petar was kind to mail an item left behind free of charge. Would stay again. Thank you!

Everything was as it should be.

Clean room, swift checking and free parking. However location is a little noisy as it's opposite a main road. Bed not comfortable and noisy, low on pillows and very small private toilet/bathroom.

Milka's is situated perfectly for getting in and out of the city by public transport (the bus stop is right outside the door) and the advantage of plentiful free parking is also great. The rooms were clean and adequate (if a little dated/basic) for a short stay and the host was very helpful. However there were a few things that would put us off returning: Hotels.com implied that breakfast was available by paying at the property, upon arrival we were told the dining room was closed! One of our rooms was at the front of building and the traffic noise was unbearable all night long - traffic seemed quieter when we stood at the bus stop outside (I took sleeping tablets the second night and did manage to get a few hours kip). Finally the mattress was way to hard for me, I suffer with chronic back pain anyway and this level of firmness just made it worse - Obviously preferred bed firmness is subjective, but if you don't like a hard bed you will definitely not like the ones here.

Room was comfortable and clean. Service was fine and the location was good for nice pubs and food options.

Only an overnight stay so facilities weren’t important to us which is just as well as there are none! If you’re after a clean & tidy bedroom with free parking then this will fit the bill.

Very nice short stay (2 nights) at Milka's. Friendly greeting, on site parking. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy. The decor is a little dated but has everything you need. I couldn't hear any traffic noise during the night. An ideal base for visiting Oxford or the surrounding area. Plenty of eateries and takeaways within walking distance.

Great location, the hotel is a 20 minute walk to the city or you can take the bus. The rooms are clean, secure, well maintained and you are provided with a kettle, tea and coffee. The bathroom has plenty of hot water, towels and a small amount of shampoo, it was disappointing that soap was not provided to wash your hands. I would stay at the hotel again and would recommend to friends and family.

Milkas was very clean and comfortable. One night stay idealy located for city centre.

An excellent hotel - great service and a great room. Absolutely no complaints.
