It was a good price for the neighborhood and the room was cleaned, with fresh towels, every day. Staff was friendly.

This hotel was nice, clean for the most part (our bed cushions smelled a bit musty, though) and staff was really nice. Room was small, but it was enough for a 2 night stay. It gets really warm when it's sunny out as sun hits it directly. Not a complaint, just something to know. Cannot leave luggage, as we were told the hotel is not responsible for it, and that we could leave it just beside the reception desk, which we chose not to do. Other than that, good place to stay.

Room was clean and modern though had some maintenance issues. i.e. 2 pin plug for table lamp when its a UK socket!! No shower curtain so floor gets very wet, bath but no water taps just the shower. No air con, though fan provided. Hair dryer available from reception. Room 17, was nice and quiet. Excellent restaurant (Frame) and cafe (Beam) as well as a small sainsburys nearby.

Room was clean, although very worn out and small. What said a standard double looked more like a single room. 1 plug in whole room which was taken by the fan in this heat, bathroom outdated and small. Very noisy extractor fan. While pictures show rooms refurbed with new flooring, ours was very worn. We understand we were in Notting Hill and that was nice, and quiet but I stayed in other hotels 4 nights with same money. On other side, we were rewarded with an unexpected early check-in which was great for our plans.

Location is great. Other than that, its an outdated, small, old place. Safe box doesn't work. Window doesn't stay up. Curtains are dusty. No breakfast available and not operating. I stayed for 3days and was excited to leave.

Disgusting, soiled bedding which weren't changed despite asking on multiple occasions meaning we slept on towels, and what seemed to be literal fairy liquid as the supplied shower gel. Honestly, for the price and location you really can't go wrong as a place to dump your gear and sleep, but just don't expect it to be a pleasant stay.

Never been catfished so badly in my life. This was truly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room that I booked was not the room they put me in and was NOTHING like the photo. They had me in the BASEMENT of the hotel, on the worst quality bed I’ve ever seen, with a disgusting headboard. They then moved me the next day to the room I asked for (the manager made it clear he was pissed off) which was 35 degrees inside (hotter than outside) with a fan that didn’t work. I ended up having to leave two days early and pay for a completely new hotel so I could survive the night without overheating. This hotel is not at all equipped for summer weather.

We booked a standard double toom for 2 nights but upon arrival we were given (room 18) what can only be described as a single room with a double bed pushed right up against the window so one of us had to climb in and out of bed as no access around the bed, ideal for a single traveller but not a couple. The smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in when in London. No room for a chair and just a cheap roller blind at the window which meant there were no curtains to keep out the light at night. Bathroom fittings were loose ie towel rail was hanging from the wall and robe hook on back of door was hanging loose, we reported this to reception but the room cleaner just pushed the towel rail fitting back on but it simply came off again when using the hand towel. We were expecting to order breakfast as the website showed a nice breakfast room but were told that no food was being served at all. There is no bar either in the hotel. On a positive note, it is a very nice peaceful area of London with lots of restaurants nearby and a short walk to Notting Hill and Portobello Market. All in all a disappointing stay.

Really good location short walk from two tube stations. Friendly and helpful staff. Lightly dated and tired but clean and comfortable beds. Shower does go all over the bathroom but easy to sort with towels.

Biggest annoyance was the fact there is no shower curtain which meant the floor got soaked with every shower. Room was nice otherwise. Small, but it works if you’re planning to be out a lot anyway. The room is just fine for sleeping. Upon arrival staff could have been a bit more helpful/clear with hotel guidelines etc. Our room didn’t have power in the outlets when we first checked in, but staff was accommodating and helpful to sort it. One off putting thing was that the staff gave another guest a key card to our room after we had been checked in for two days. Luckily we were in the room at the time the other guest tried to settle in and they were able to go downstairs and get it sorted. However, after that incident both of our key cards failed to work on our room for a couple days. They also just come in for room service every day even with do not disturb, but that didn’t bother us. I don’t think I’ll stay again, didn’t feel exactly worth the price, but it was alright enough for our trip. The location was convenient and felt very safe.

Was given the wrong room, there was another woman already in it. Was given another room after. All shower knobs were broken so could not control temperature so it was too hot to shower. A women’s hair was left in the bathroom so it had not been cleaned well.

Just awful! The receptionist seemed distracted with something else and was quite rude when we checked in. Our "executive" room was literally behind the reception office. When we entered the room it was tiny, dark and grubby. As we were next to reception we heard every conversation taking place outside. It was dated and in need of refurbishment. The floors were bare wood and every floorboard creaked and squeaked. The blind didn't work, the curtain ties were held on by wire, the bed was so close to the wall we could barely walk around it to get to the other side - there was no way that room was 172sq ft. We had no balcony - a feature of an executive room. The window had a restricted opening so it was quite stuffy. The bathroom was disgusting, there was someone else's make up on the wall, water marks all over the tiles and shower which proved it hadn't been cleaned, the toilet constantly ran, the door handle was hanging on for dear life and the complementary soap dispensers had been removed and the holders were left to chorrode and drill holes were left to go mouldy. Well done to the advertising team, the picture of the light fitting from our room shown on the website was the only attractive feature but even that was broken. We didn't complain at the time as we had nowhere else to stay and other things to do. We decided we only had to sleep there. The pillows didnt make that easy. We will be emailing the management directly with photos of all the issues requesting a refund.

Utterly disappointing. The hotel is very rundown and dirty. We did change rooms when we checked in as they put us on the ground floor where we would be unable to open a window. There is no air conditioning, just fans which blow dust around the room. The room was dirty and noisy. The shower fell apart and a heavy piece of metal fell on my daughter’s foot. Water doesn’t drain away and previous occupants soap left in the bath. It is definitely not the star rating it claims to be. At times I felt unwell seeing how dirty it was and if I had the money, I would have checked out immediately and found an alternative. This did ruin the weekend for me which my daughter and me had really looked forward to. The female staff were kind and helpful but the male staff didn’t really know what he was doing and also labelled our luggage with the wrong room number. Luckily we got it before it went missing with someone else’s bags. The maintenance man fixed the shower, but her was intimidating and did not have the best personal hygiene. This is one to avoid.

Lady at reception upon arrival looked like she didn't want to be there, no greeting just a blank stare, described as every room as a balcony well room 10 definitely doesn't, in the basement with such a disgusting bathroom, the white grout is all yellow and brown stained, the pillows on the bed are too hard, the main lights in the room had a few bulbs that had gone and the remaining seemed to start flickering so fast every 10mins like it was a rave, the WiFi was so poor and TV reception was even worse, I do believe this was due to being in the basement, the pictures are not a true reflection on the property, very unhappy with the stay
