Slitent hotell som trenger en oppussing. Alt hva du kan sammenligne med hotell i særklasse, for dem som husker den serien på tv.

Dejligt hotel i meget rolige omgivelser. Godt værelse med ok god plads og 3 gode enkeltsenge. Værelset var rent. Købte morgenmad én dag- men det var overhovedet ikke pengene værd. Jeg kan ikke anbefale morgenmaden- men anbefaler gerne hotellet.

Quite warm. Maybe it’s good for the winter but definitely not a good idea to stay here in the summer. Staff had a difficult time explaining things when I asked about the aircon that clearly wasnt working. He ended up telling me that there is no aircon in the whole hotel facility. It’s pretty obvious there’s aircon in the lobby though because it was cold. I just wish they invested in keeping the guests comfortable too. I guess it’s safe to say I won’t be staying here again.

The room was clean but very basic. The furniture was old and grotty. The television did not work, and they did not even try to help with that. The room was very hot as there was no air conditioning. Breakfast was very basic. I would not stay here again.

Cheep, cheerful, but maybe a little tired, good location!

The bathroom was dirty. Had to clean the toilet. The shower had hairs in it but they did not show up well on pics. The floor was dusty around the edges. There was no tea or coffee and the drawer they were supposed to be in and it was not very clean. Given tea and coffee by the receptionist but no milk. Eventually went out and bought tea and milk from local Sainsbury. The tap was absolutely disgusting, as was the rest of the sink. Toothpaste had been spit out and covered the tap. It was dried solid and plenty of it. How it had been missed only god knows. I assume the sink was not cleaned at all because if it were it would be noticed. On a different note, one of the electrical sockets was loose and when i pulled out the plug it sparked. Not very good if young children are around. Trying to upload pics but the app is not allowing.

Great location good staff

A bit rundown and not super clean. Leaky shower and leaky taps, but a lovely location and great room for families.

Clean reasonably sized room -easy check in/out. Good location in a quiet area.

This hotel was nice, clean for the most part (our bed cushions smelled a bit musty, though) and staff was really nice. Room was small, but it was enough for a 2 night stay. It gets really warm when it's sunny out as sun hits it directly. Not a complaint, just something to know. Cannot leave luggage, as we were told the hotel is not responsible for it, and that we could leave it just beside the reception desk, which we chose not to do. Other than that, good place to stay.

Cobwebs above bed, hair in shower plug hole, usb ports didn’t work, cracked tile on bathroom floor, sticky dirty floor. Apart from that it was great!! 😕😕

We didnt end up staying here. my friend arrived the day before me, and refused to stay by herself. We were given a basement room which felt uncomfortable. The staff seemed a bit confused at why she was checking in. The window didnt latch properly. She stayed with a friend that night, with DND sign over the door. The next day i arrived at the hotel with her and got the same off-vibe. We were told to go back upstairs when we tried to get into the basement. Despite the DND being on, someone had clearly been in the room and left trash in the bin and moved some things around. We checked out early. The staff response to us checking out also seemed a bit confusing. It felt a bit like they didnt expect guests in the hotel at all.

I was pleasantly surprised by the New Linden. Location is pretty great 8min walk to Bayswater or Notting Hill on the circle line and about 30 min to most attractions. I was disappointed to find the shower was not draining and the light over it was out but they fixed both within 2 days. Daily maid service. Odd and quaint that you leave your key in a basket when you leave. Once they let me take the wrong key before I realized the mistake - use your hotel safe! Bag storage means leaving your bag in the lobby for anyone to grab but thankfully no issues. I'd bring a locking cable if I stayed again. Overall the hotel is in good shape and the only other concern would be lack of AC in the summer. We stayed in a family suite with 3 beds and worked out well but the steps to the main bedroom can be dangerous at night. The neighborhood was amazingly quiet and safe. Pubs within 8 minutes in either direction and a Sainsbury small grocery 3 min away. Hotel breakfast of hard boiled eggs, cereals, 2 kinds of yogurt, croissant, tea/coffee was underwhelming - Sainsbury has better food (salmon lox, fresh fruit, hot pain au chocolate, hot cocoa) for a lower price and open 30 min earlier.

Great location but this isn’t a 4 star hotel- more like a 2 or 3 star at best. Good value

The Hotel is really old, lots of things like the toilet paper holder and towel holders falling appart, window won’t seal the cold out, also it is wheelchair/stroller friendly only if you can clear the few stairs in the entrance, room was small and not so clean, my kid was playing with his toy cars and they went under the bed just to reveal a year old thick layer of dust. Also there is no fridge (that you’d think is a must in a 4 star hotel) Only thing we liked about this hotel was the location, I don’t think we’d stay here again

Brilliant overall but for the cleanliness - really spacious and excellent storage facilities
