Novotel Wolverhampton

Overall positive experience.

Staff unbelievably courteous. Iron in room a thoughtful idea. Really comforting stay. Baths could be a tad lower for the ladies and the elderly when redecorating. The courteous staff is what stands out. I am settled on the hotel.

Only stayed for 1 night, so it was ok. Room was a bit tired, carpet needed changing. Overall though it served it's purpose.

Check-in was smooth and quick. Prince went above and beyond. Room was clean with everything functioning as purposed. Breakfast was fresh and good. Welcoming and friendly staff.

Tiny room. Cracks in the floor tiles with sharp edges, shower in the bedroom.

Unlike my last visit at the beginning of Nov on first floor, this third floor room was not good enough for the money. Mattress sagging and really needs replacing. I placed a towel under the sheet as the mattress protector was very stained. Bed frame broken. A lot of noise from the room adjoining (315). Did I get the worst/last room because of late check in even though I booked well in advance? Staff on reception and serving at breakfast were lovely as usual and breakfast was good. Bar food last night was not as good as on previous occasions and menu items had sold out (salad niçoise). Chicken César salad was truly awful. Extremely limited alcohol free options too. Becks blue was only lager/ale option. You have Hobson’s brewery in Cleobury Mortimer down the road - you could use them. Missed opportunity in today’s increasingly sober curious age. But as I said, reception staff, waiting staff and brekky all lovely as before.

The room was very comfortable. The food at the bar wasnt too bad.

My stay at the Novotel Hotel was very good no complaints. The rooms were clean with the offer of robes and slippers (nice touch) The staff were amazing, polite and very pleasant. The breakfast was good, the choicesand the healthy options available. Overall experience excellent! I would recommend this hotel

Staff great but room poor. The room requires updating and the sink overflows with a smell, plus wastage comes up into the sink. The toilet needs a sink as leaving the toilet without washing hands and touching surfaces to get to the bathroom to wash your hands. Will not use this hotel xhain again

Good stay. However, we waited to be served at the bar and nobody appeared for 5 minutes, so we went somewhere else. In the room there was a bun in the bathroom but not the toilet room-so nowhere to discard sanitary products. Also no sanitary bags.

Room was clean and spacious, albeit a little dated. Bring plugs as there are no usb points. Do like the fact it has a separate toilet. Breakfast and bar service excellent, quick and attentive.
