We have stayed at the hotel numerous times in the last decade, when in the UK. Always cozy, comfortable and clean. Great views! Josh, the General Manager, displays excellent customer service skills. He was very helpful and understanding of a request beyond our control; and always seemed upbeat. Night staff were also very friendly and kind. Cheers! Jonathan

Stayed here mainly for one night business trips probably totalling 30 nights now and staff are always friendly.. Mainly Excellent. Some rooms probably need a fresh paint but if you're not too bothered about this then time here is excellent. Parking is plentiful and the views are incredible. The food has always been excellent and the portions are huge.

We booked a “deluxe double room” last minute after a long flight, too tired to drive home and just needing a restful night. The room was freezing cold, radiator turned off and window open not ideal on a cold February evening! The window didn’t close properly and the radiator made a loud humming noise. The bed was really lumpy, towels extremely old and the room itself tired and far from “deluxe” We were disturbed by noise from the room below until I got up and complained at 4am to the night manager. The breakfast was surprisingly good but this is definitely a place to AVOID

I have stayed here many times generally without issue but this was shocking. Corridor stunk of marijuana residue, room like a fridge from 2am onwards on the coldest night of the year so far. Bar food awful - reheated food which was returned to be replaced with slop and tasteless replacements. Nobody to report issues to the following morning. Breakfast was was again reheated and inedible. Tried to contact to discuss, no response to calls and no email address.

Ive stayed here a number of times and have always been satisfied with the hotel. However this time i was disappointed. The hotel is on the moors so it can be windy. I accept that. But the windows in the bedroom and the bathroom dont fit properly allowing what was a cold wind in. The radiator didnt work and the room was very cold. The staff were polite and friendly. However, the room information said the restaurant closed at 7pm on Sunday but when i turned up at 6.35 i was told it had closed at 6.30, meaning, after a very long arduous day, i had to go out again to try to find a meal. This was the last thing i needed. A quite disappointing stay overall.

There was a wedding party. It was very noisy. Our door was kicked in twice by the kids, they were running around making a lot of noise and behaving in anti social way. We were scared to stay and had to leave for our safety. The kids were consuming alcohols and drunk. The hotel didn’t seem to be able or want to deal with this kind of anti social behaviour. The staff promised a refund but we still haven’t received the money yet.

Our second time staying at the Pennine Manor Hotel and it always feels welcoming and friendly. The staff are polite, accommodating and attentive and the light bites on the food menu were lovely and filling. We were there for another presentation weekend which made the 5 hour drive worth it! This place is quite difficult to get to if you're coming from the south (very narrow/one way roads). The wifi was not working in my room. I would have to get out to the hallway near the exit to get a signal. The room was not clean on check in nor was it cleaned properly every day. There was hair in the bathroom and the carpet was full of white hair like it had not been vacuumed for years. I put the towels multiple times in the bath to get changed and the cleaning people would just fold it and put it back on the towel hanger which is disgusting and I couldn't use them again. The shower/bath was ridiculously small, I could not stand with my feet stuck together flat on the bottom of the bath and I'm a normal sized 5'6 woman. The heated towel rack was not working so really it was just a towel rack. The only thing that was good about my stay was the breakfast. Even though it was the same every day, it was nice and fresh.
