Clean and comfortable room, very warm. Enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi!

Room was ok but it was a maze of stairs to get there Most of the staff were courteous Food menu was mainly Indian or Chinese

Cheaper breakfast would be nice. One female member of staff didn’t have front of house manner, but others lovely. Jacuzzi and steam room fab. Plastic bed protector on bed made it hot and incomfy but room very clean and stylish.

I've stayed here several times now. The staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, the restaurant is excellent, especially the Indian menu. I look forward to my visits here in the future.

Room was lovely. Breakfast was nice but very small portions for the cooked breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant, it was unclear there was just 1 restaurant with 2 menus. We ordered the steak, it was probably the worst steak we have ever eaten. Would stay again, but wouldn’t order off the main menu for dinner

Check in was quick and easy and our room was nice, spacious and comfortable. All staff were lovely, smart, polite, frindly and helpful at all times. The restaurant was absoloutly faultless, beautifully set out, great menu choices and food quality was amazing at a fair price. (As a family of 4, we had our evening meal in the Saffron restaurant, 3 adult meals and 1 childs) and all were above our expectations. The bar was also lovely, comfortable and spacious with a lovely outdoor covered area where we enjoyed our evening. We did not use the gym area, it appeared very small and i only noticed 3 machines, but they looked decent. The pool area was also small, but functional with a hot tub and sauna room also. Whilst i did see a staff member taking water samples for testing whilst in there, i did also notice some areas of the pool that would benefit from some attention to detail with cleanliness, and the same for the small but functional changing rooms. The tiles and grout between them could use a deep clean, as could the bathroom in our room. I felt the standards in those areas were significantly lower than the rest of the hotel, which was on the whole lovely. A few finer finishes could see this hotel become a luxury stay. Over all, it was lovely and we would stay again, but would like to see the areas mentioned receive some attention.
