Very convenient location, next to Charing Cross station (train & subway), walkable to Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, National Portrait Museum, St Martins in the Field church ( great classical music), theatre district, Chinatown, Leicester Square, Royal Ballet, Convent Gardens, and the Thames!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location at Charing Cross is excellent for theater/museums/sightseeing. Rooms are, lovely, well-equipped, but small. Hey … it’s West End London.

The hotels in an excellent location. It’s close to all the major sights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a wonderful job of keeping the room clean and stocked with lovely snacks. The breakfast options were extensive and the staff attentive.
An area for improvement is the fact that they only have accessible rooms for 2 people. If you are a family and need a bigger room and walk-in shower they WILL NOT provide a shower chair. It is against hotel policy. This makes it very difficult for families to support someone with a disability.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location for exploring London. The rooms were spacious, clean and the staff was excellent. We were amazed at the hundreds of dining choices that were within walking distance from the hotel. We were also able to walk to many nearby attractions from the hotel. This hotel is also conveniently located next to a train/tube station.

This hotel is beautiful. It is centrally located and right above Charing Cross station, as well as down the street from multiple other trains. The rooms are good and the staff frequently refills and cleans everything. The best part is the lobby, which has a beautiful staircase area that always smells great, and a Starbucks. Even though the room is pretty standard I felt very well taken care of and everything was so easy to get to!

The Clermont is a wonderful, historic hotel. Clean, safe, comfortable rooms. Courteous staff who are friendly and helpful. The dining room is worth checking out too. The surrounding area is busy as the Charring Cross train yard is below and behind this hotel. Easy access via the tube.
